i recently heard people hyping this dude. he came to town and the show was $30. UNWAR EXPENSIVE SHOWS!!! I'm accustomed to bands I ain't ne'er heard of playing the small place on the cheap.

Totally started :hearting: this guys soul cries after catching him on Austin City Limits a couple years back. Listen to him daily now.

I like him. Very soulful, as I mentioned, and dark. Good voice. Different than the usual "soulful and chill" music out nowdays. He even sounds sad to me.

I think one of his songs was in that STUPID STUPID movie where Uma Thurman dated Meryl Streep's son. But don't let that make you think any less of him.

And even though I like him, I would NOT have paid $30 to see him either!

I think I have that episode on my PVR. I record it every week but hardly get time to watch. I'll definitely check it out.
