Will be discussed in a bit, but first I must get "down ona my knees like this" and thank Dana for signing GSP/Hughes III, The Final Beatdown 4 days after my birthday. Nothing says Happy 35th like watching GSP run roughshod over the farmboy once again. Too bad there won't be a IV,V,VI ....

On to tonight's card:
Riggs/Sanchez- This should be a good fight that we all know does not go the distance. My guess is if Riggs doesn't get sloppy early and keeps up with Diego's early pace, Riggs wins the fight late 2nd , early 3rd. Riggs was overwhelmed by Hughes and I'm sure Diego tries the same attack plan. Experience prevails.

Joslin/Koscheck- Don't know anything about Joslin except that his fighting Koscheck and that's good enough for me

Fickett/Parisyan- Another nice match up. I think Karo also learns from his Diego fight and gets the decision win.

Davis/Carter- Don't much care about this one, but I'm sure Goldie will reference the spinning back fist a time or dozen. Carter by strikes 2nd rd

Davis really impressed me. He's made a lot of progress.

Karo is a friggen animal and Fickett put up one helluva fight. If Fickett is a "B-level" fighter like Rogan mentioned than he is a B+

Joslin impressed, while Kos seemed to return to his roots as "The Blanket." I think he was a little shocked by Joslin's standup. The talent at 170 is amazing.

Diego might be a mushmouth whenever they interview him, but I think it's clear by now that he's the real deal. He caught Riggs with a beautiful hook. I wish they'd do GSP vs. Sanchez before they bring back Hughes.

It really is unfair to Diego that he has to wait until probably next summer to get his title shot. He should be the #1 contender at this point. Do I think that Diego is better than Hughes or Penn? No, but he hasn't lost and they have. He's earned his shot at GSP.
