Thanks, PSU.
As most of you know, I was a very talented
football player and had my choice of many schools to play at. I was seriously considering UCLA for the same reasons that I chose to go to Cal (and not play football) well, there were many reasons for that.
The best way to describe why I chose to go to Cal, would be this video... and as a kid, I grew up going to games at Memorial.
Art
It was also in part, why I left school, before the end of my first year.(long story),
Anyways, I can't wait for the bowls to begin, since it's one of the reasons I enjoy "College Football" so much, and makes it so special compared to other college sports.
There is no real winner or loser... other than
opinions...
and the love of the game.
That to me... is what sets College Football apart from other sports, and makes it so mythical.
Ok, my drunkin' spew is over/ly romanticized.
I'm just ready for some football...
Give me some bowl games!!!

P.S.
What I Thought About When Viewing That Video...
There are many who, to my chagrin, refer to subjects such as art or music as "non-academic". Their lack of insight or experience in these disciplines doubtlessly leads them to such erroneous conclusions.
True, art requires dexterity, but it is the least of the skills needed. One must have imagination, which is to say, the ability to generate an idea that can be concisely expressed in limited space and time; vision, to facilitate the composition of that idea in a suitable medium; and critical thinking skills, to solve the myriad technical problems inherent to the creation of a work with visual and/or spatial consistency, yet not so mechanical as to be devoid of life and hence, value as art.
m2 is the truth
Go Bears!!!
