Does he get suspended by proxy?
The Sixers got ripped off in the deal unless the one of the first rounders ends up in the lottery. The Nuggets will be nice when Carmelo's suspension ends.

Obviously the nugget GM didn't get my memo about cornrow dude. Now he got himself a pair of corn rowed mvscal book ends. Better ad a few hundred thou to the team fine budget.

I thought for sure that Minney would find a way to land him.
Cue Kevin Garnett whining like a vag now to be traded to the Lakers in 3.......2.........1..........

Not really. AI does not play well with others... only so many balls to go around, so he and Carmelo will have issues over who is getting the ball more. Sixers got a legitmate starter that can produce for them now... and they got a couple more picks in a very deep draft next year. I'm pulling for this guy to end up in Philly -

And you'd really hate that BECAUSE.......????
Because Lamar Odom is a excellent fit in the triangle offense, plays the scottie pippen role to a tee, and is a close friend of Kobe. Thier chemistry is nothing short of awesome on the fucking court.
Last thing any Laker fan wants to see is Odom moved (Minny has stated that he would have to be included in the deal-thats what held it up last year)
Phil has nearly all the pieces in place toward building another 90's bulls-like team. No way us lakerfans want to see that fucked with.

Lamar Odom 2006 Stats:
PPG: 17.5
APG: 4.9
MPG: 37.9
RPG: 8.7
FG%: .474
Kevin Garnett 2006 Stats:
PPG: 21.7
APG: 3.8
MPG: 38.3
RPG: 11.9
FG%: .500
Ten times better?
Not a fucking chance.
Factor in that we're comparing the #2 option of the Lakers to the #1 option of Wolves, and KG's numbers look that much less impressive.
KG would have to get aquainted with the triangle (which usually takes a year or so), and has not only shown he isnt a pressure player, he has shown he wants nothing to do with the ball in the last few minutes.
Odom is quite the opposite. Dude can do so much on the court that one cant help but throw down the 'Scottie' label on him, including PJax. He routinely brings the ball upcourt, has handles like a motherfucker, and can knock down the 3 often. His defensive presence is outstanding as well (Riles considered him one the better defenders in the league)
Big ticket is a great player-but i'll take the current lineup as is, thank you.

You, and only you, would consider Lamar Odom to be comparable to Kevin Garnett. They don't even play in the same universe. Sorry, but it's true.

I dunno...when it comes to being complete fucking idiots, they're close...although Kevin "I should be getting the other players' and coaches salaries too, since I'm the only one who does anything" Garnett has at least managed to keep himself in the league continuously...there is that.

Please excuse Blazertard, as they got the older 'scottie' that was abused like a rented mule whenever Kobe and co. came to thier
backyard to school them on how championship players throw it down.
When PJax related Odom to Pip, he meant the one he coached that didnt get his ass tapped weekly by the rest of the fucking league.
Even though Odom is out for a month, the team is in a very good position to do damage this season and beyond.

What next, Paul Mitchell? A diatribe about how Jermaine Dye would be a better fit for the White Sox than Albert Pujols just because Dye had one season where his stats where in the same "ballpark" as Pujols' stats.
Garnett is a first ballot HoF player (and still playing like one). Odom will have to pay admission to get into the HoF just like I would. Decent career, good player but he couldn't hold KG's jock on his best day.

Is KG a great player? Most definitely.
Phil said that his unwillingness to include Odom in a deal last year cost him getting KG...........
That tells me phil obviously see's some sort of great value in the type of player he is.
I mean, Are you really stupid enough to think that you're a smarter basketball mind than a 9 time champion coach? There's a fucking reason he didnt pull the trigger on it
last year.

Fine, feel free to find any decent athlete in any "team" sport that you'd like that has two-thirds the stats of a superstar player. Would that make it easier to comprehend for you, dolt?
All KG has ever done is complile MVP awards, All-NBA honors, All-Defensive team honors & close to ten All-Star game appearances. I can see how Lamar Odom is every bit as valuable. After all, his resume supports your moronic argument, right?
Trust me, if Phil had a legit shot at getting KG, he'd send Odom packing so fast that it might spin the world in the opposite direction and cause us to go back in time. Phil may have made that statement but that was just his politically correct way of saying that any negotiations with the T-Wolves went south and I'm gonna give some love to my player. KG for Odom is a no-brainer for anyone. A 9 time champion coach is well aware of that.
Myopic jackass.

Me either...since this "Jailblazer dumbfuck"* knows who the Lakers GM is, and apparently Lakerfan doesn't.
"Phil wouldn't make the deal blah blah blah..."
Uhm...coaches devise gameplans and
coach players. If they're keeping track of who makes how much, they're not doing their job right.
"Minny has stated that he would have to be included in the deal-thats what held it up last year."
Tears, Jerry. Tears.
Yeah, buddy -- the Timberwolves were going to part with their franchise player for Cryin Grant (might have been tough to trade Cryin last season, eh?)and Radmanovic. Or Radmanovic, Kwame, Mihm, and McKie(a Blazer draft pick from way back when, and Clyde's Boy)...because the Wolves would have been allllll over that, right?
Laughing quite hard at you.
Yeah, because the Lakers saved the Wolves life back in 'Nam, right?
"Phil wouldn't make the deal because it included Lamar"...can't...stop...laughing.
Uhm...who else on the Laker roster were you planning on trading for KG, dumbfuck?
Stop trying to play armchair GM...since we all know that
Phil Jackson is the Lakers GM, not you.
* -- A "Jailblazers" reference in the thread about Lamar Odom is pretty much priceless

Stick to what you know best-collecting bail to spring out the latest dipshit player, sucking off the youngins the failblazers draft in hopes of them becoming anything more than a bust, and being the Lakers perrenial bitch.
'Cause as it stands, im enjoy a hearty laugh at the expense of your jurrassic ass right now.
Lets start with the obvious: Do you really think Jackson has no say in who gets moved/signed and reports to Mitch?
buwahaha.
Yeah, cause we all know how many championship squads have been put together due to mitch's deft hand.
Phil has the final fucking say in who comes and goes-period.
Yeah, buddy -- the Timberwolves were going to part with their franchise player for Cryin Grant (might have been tough to trade Cryin last season, eh?)and Radmanovic.
You've got this whole "dumbfuck" thing on lockdown, huh?
Rad was a fucking Clipper last season, tard.
And it was the unwillingness to part with
Bynum and
Odom that killed the deal. Phil stated it in the paper last year.
I'd tell you to back away from the fucking keyboard at this point, but it'd take away the best laugh i've had in awhile.

And I'm not even going to bring up why, since I'm having an awfully good laugh watching you

But I will tell you this -- just shutting the fuck up and walking away would probably be your best bet to mitigate this one.

Contenders in the West, if the Wolves could stomach that, would be lining up as well: Phoenix, Dallas and certainly others. The Lakers' interest, furthermore, is no secret, with Kobe Bryant and Garnett seemingly an ideal tag team given KG's well-chronicled unselfishness … and Garnett maintaining an offseason residence in Malibu … and two tantalizing big men (Lamar Odom and Andrew Bynum) for the Wolves to go after
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/dailydime ... -061118-19
Almost any deal for Garnett would have to include Lamar Odom and Andrew Bynum. Based on Bynum's play earlier in the season and his long time horizon (he's only 19), he won't be going anywhere, probably for a long while.
http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-spw-la ... ome-sports
Yep, you've definitely got the 'dumbfuck' thing on lockdown.
You can type KG for Odom and Bynum in google and pull up
a ton of articles/blogs on it. Among them are ESPN, LA times, and Minnessota's paper.
Heres an idea: Try knowing what the fuck you're talking about before hitting submit, bitch.

Newsflash -- the papers can spew all the bullshit they like, just as Phil Jackson routinely does.
They also have very strict rules about trades in the NBA.
Granted, neither you nor I are fully familiar with them (in the peak of thew Nitwit era, the Blazers had three lawyers on staff, just to reasearch trades), but I'm reasonably certain that a trade of Odom at $11.4 mil and Bynum at $1.9 mil would bring a response of "uhm, read the rules lately, dumbass?" from the League Office. $13.3 X 1.25 < 18...and if my understanding of these ultra-complicated rules is correct, the Lakers wouldn't qualify for the exemption to make it happen, and none of the involved players' salaries are anywhere near close enough to make it a multi-tiered deal.
And this season, that deal is even less plausable, since Garnett's salary went up $2 mil more over last year.
Maybe that's why Kumchick is the GM, and not Phil Doucheson.
I'd say a Zach Randolph and Arius Miles(who would eventually get cut) for KG deal is more likely to happen than anything the Lakers could come up with. And without Odom's salary(or Kobe's, but that ain't happening) in the deal, if the Lakers did trade for KG, they'd have a roster of about 4 players, since only two guys on the entire Lakers roster(not counting Cryin Grant, who I believe they're still paying...but Blazerfan feels your pain) make any sort of money whatsoever(by NBA standards).
Sure makes for good sensationalized news stories and compelling water coller discussion though, eh?
