I have to wonder what Mark McGwire thinks when Pete Rose backs him publicly!!
- I gotta figure that McGwire does not want his name mixed up with Pete Rose. Because that can't help!!
In other words, McGwire used Steroids to achieve his Home Run records! and the biggest black mark other than steroids (and wife beating) supports his cause. That is not something that will help McGwire.Rose made the case for McGwire by noting that baseball didn't crack down on steroids until after the 2002 season, by which time McGwire had retired.
