the king of rock n roll

its funny, but, when african americans say that "elvis stole from blacks", I have to laugh my ass off at that kind of stupidity, AND, dare I say it? its sick racist bullshit as well,
how do I know this? simple, I've researched the career and music of elvis presley for over 25 years now.
and, I'm not talking about skimming the surface research, BUT painstaking loving research, the kind of research that never finishes, but rather, is a lifelong process.
which is why, I LAUGH OUT LOUD, at the sheer stupidity of certain folks, certain groups of people, who continue with their racist bullshit lies, AND, not only do I laugh at stupidity, but, I feel sorry and pity them at the same time,
it seems that some people love to stay stupid for their entire lives, so be it.
THAT BEING SAID, there really is no other conclusion that one can come to when discussing the music of elvis presley, his "body of work" is so incredible, so critically acclaimed, and so amazing, that no artist may approach that kind of greatness, ever again.
when elvis presley went into the studio after serving in the armed forces for 2 years, he would forever seal his greatness,
what he accomplished during the period from 1954 thru 1958, was BEYOND ALL REASON.
in the genre of rock n roll, those 5 years contain such critically acclaimed works, that if he died in the army, his mark would be insane, BUT, when he returned from the army in 1960,
he now put himself in an elite class, where rollcall is very short.
elvis presley arranged some gospel sessions which can only be described as "awe-inspiring",
when he did those sessions, he forever left behind chuck berry and little richard in the dust.
those two giants were great, but elvis already accomplished greatness in rock n roll, elvis' 50's output is not only equal to theirs, but in many respects, he passes them by with his classic recordings.
THEN, when he returns from the army, elvis presley is able to change, as all great artists must do, and he arranged and laid down some of the most sublime gospel recordings ever.
AND, he wasnt finished, 1966 saw some more incredible sessions work from the king, and, 1969, brought some incredible soul from the king,
after that, his output would be bright in spots, but his death was coming fast, as he lost the will to live,
IN THAT SHORT TIMESPAN, elvis presley recorded some of the most amazing music in 6 different genres or styles of music.
its one thing to sell more records than anyone, BUT, when you have critical acclaim? that puts you in an entirely different league, altogether.
so, the next time you hear a sad , pathetic member of the rap community try to diss the king?
just laugh at their un-educated ass, then, feel sorry and pity their racist behaviour,
but they wont change, because stupidity never does.
