Lou Holtz's Bowl theory

if a team played good in their last game, he picks against them because they will come out flat in their bowl game.
if they played bad in their last game, he picks them because they will play good in the bowl game.
he's justified his picks 2-3 times this way today. that's just weird to me as an all-inclusive rationale.

I'll bet it works out around 50-50 in the long run.

If he at least knows what teams are playing each other, he's already a step ahead of a certain co-worker.
