Texas is the #18 in the country???

They just beat a shit team 6-7(Iowa) at home by 2 points???

This is the same team that lost to A&M at home to end the season... and said A&M lost to the #20 team(Cal) by 35 points, 5 TD's????

Unreal.

VA Tech is # 14 in the country???

Other than one fluke pass play... did they have a drive over 20 yards on the night???

They're getting clowned by a Georgia team, that almost lost to Colorado mid-season.

Notre Dame is # 11 in the country???

Need I say more?

CAL

They beat a terrible A&M team that was on an emotional high after beating their arch rivals to end the season. Cal barely beat a shitty Stanford team. They also lost to Tennessee, USC and some other PAC-10 alsoran.

But if you ask Mtool2, they should get the ADt trophy.

Reading a little too much from watching a few exhibition games...the regular season is a better judge on how good these teams are. I think we knew Texas wasn't as good as once thought after they lost their second and third game. Notre Dame hasn't beaten a highly-ranked team...I think it's also known that they're a bit overrated. You don't need these silly little holiday games to further drive home these points. The only game that matters happens in about a week in Glendale...who gives a rip about who finishes 3rd-25th.

Two teams that are underrated...

Arizona: They beat the fags from Pink Lettuce Canyon who just won the MNC in the Holiday Bowl

Tennessee: By far the best team in the SEC (they ran away with the SEC title) and probably should have played Kal in a rematch for the MNC

Fuck all these bowl games. They should have just given Cal the trophy and declared them national champs.

Exactly.

By the way... who has Notre Dame beaten this year to earn a #11 rank?

Still clinging to the same joke because you don't have a better response? Hopefully you can write new material in 2007...

Honestly though, when isn't Notre Dame a top 10 team when they lose only one or two games? They're in the top 11 because they're Notre Dame.

Not quite. They're about where they belong.

ND ranks behind four other ten-win teams, and ahead of eight others. But four of those behind ND are non-BCS schools (TCU, BYU, Houston and Hawaii). The ten-win BCS teams behind ND are Arkansas, West Virginia, Virginia Tech and Rutgers.

Arkansas lost two to finish the season. The ACC was down this season (sin, Marcus), and with all the criticism the Big East received on this board this season, it would be the ultimate intellectual dishonesty for about 90% of this board to suggest that either West Virginia or Rutgers, let alone both, deserve to be ranked ahead of ND.

That's way too complicated and intelligent of an argument...that'll go right over his head. Try to narrow it down to a few words or pretty pictures...that's more his speed.

This could be the weakest attempt at flaming I have ever seen. Well just for fun, I will play.

On Texas, I agree. And I don't care, you see we are still the 2006 MNC, we still have a monster recruiting class and we have a bright future. Last I checked our QB is still Colt McCoy, he has 3 years of eligibility left and we are about to reload and go for it again. No the season did not end like I wanted it to, but we still got another 10 win season and Texas did beat two of the three toughest teams on our schedule. Oh, did I mention we are still the defending MNC.

Enjoy your Holiday Bowl win, I know it is a big thing for you, but even if Texas had gone to that game and beaten kal we still would have had a shit season and wouldn't beling. You see Kal in the Holiday bowl is just like Iowa in the Alamo Bowl --Insignificant.
