USC's practices are open and everyone can attend them. OJ showed up at a practice in Florida before the Orange Bowl vs Iowa as a guest to Justin Fargas' father who is a friend of OJ.
I dont know the story behind Reggie not receiving one of the 5 sideline passes USC was allowed, maybe he put in his request later than the other 5 did and the 5 they had were already promised to other people.

John Papadakis was part of the early 70's USC team that with the help of Sam Cuningham integrated the SEC by whooping Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
He's also had 2 sons play at USC and a third who is on his way there
As well as owning a nice lil Greek restaraunt in Pedro that seems to be a highlight of many SC recruits trips
