That was one hell of a football game.

As much negativity as I've showed towards BSU, I'll still give them mad RACKs for getting it done.

But that enormous bandwagon they're pulling behind them is more than annoying.

Essentially, I love seeing a smaller program bootstrapping their way up the ladder. I loved the fact that Wake, BSU, and Rutgers all had very nice seasons, and that they came through with quality performances against tough competition.

The U&L is probably abuzz about BSU, eh? Over this way, Rutgers is a pretty hot topic - former doormat made good.

As a general rule, the U&L despises BSU(Boise isn't in the U&L, anyway). I think I mentioned how the Oregon State boosters literally wanted Riley's head on a platter(and there were allegedly death threats...which is funny coming from Beavsfans), because they lost to Boise Freaking State. I guess there's a "buzz" on the local sports shows -- with about 95% coming down on the side of "screw those whiney bitches. Tell them to play somebody." And the local hacks are eating them alive.


Although in Portland, and Oregon in general, BSU is more well-liked than the Huskies...but so is Saddam Hussien.

It was a great game from both teams....without a doubt one of the most exciting and watchable college games I've ever seen.....big huge giant props to Oklahoma-they're a great football team with great fans and a class act all the way around.....I have a new found respect for the tradition of Oklahoma football.....

how do correct predictions play into talking shit about yr team? i think umich will lose anything remotely close to a big game, but that doesn't mean i'm not happy when i'm wrong. i feel for the poor florida fans who think osu will most likely win - you know, if a gun's held to their head via a mb - and aren't allowed to celebrate if they're wrong.

I remember watching them 2 years ago and was impressed. I told a few people back West that they are a pretty decent program that nobody knows about. That's pretty good considering how many college programs are located very close together in the tri-state area.

With BSU, over the years I've watched them punk Fresno State because you can't let up on those guys for one play, or you'll get burned. Boise plays hard on every single play. They're like the VietCong, the BroncoCong. They never quit.

FOX was saying at halftime tonight that you can download the entire game from (I think) iTunes. Since I missed about the final 7/8 of the game I may just do that. Might be a good one to archive for posterity at any rate.
