Gimmick offenses can't hang!

Meyer's goofy spread-option attack may work at Bowling Green or Utah but not with the big-boys.
Uh ya right. Option attacks with running-qb's have been a staple in college-ball for years. Meyer's offense is just a new take on it that allows you to be more balanced than a more traditional option-attack. Rich Rodriquez has been doing similar things for years with success, first at Clemson and now at WV. Texas did plenty of spread-option when they had VY. Now it is just a matter of how many other schools adopt similar "gimmicky" attacks.
