I thought for sure we'd be either 1 or 2.

Who gives a shit what the voters think. I'll go with Sagarin's top 8.

In his own rankings, it's:
1. Florida, 2. USC, 3. LSU, 4. Ohio State, 5. Louisville, 6. Boise State,
7. Michigan, 8. California

Wow, I was real close with my Top 5 from the other thread.

Nice to see we picked up some more points to finish at #29. A good way to go into next season for a team that returns 18 starters.

3 Big East teams in the Top 12. Very nice.

Wisconsin wins their bowl game and drops a spot. no thanks to Michigan and tOSU....i guess the Big 10 backlash was pretty sharp. given the OU/Boise swing....apparently a 1 point game in OT is worth a cumulative 7 spot differential in the rankings....?

And Auburn beat Florida and LSU. Damn!
I'm glad SOMEBODY noticed...

You guys are right there on the cusp......that QB of yours is going to be special.

Just need a RB and we'd be pretty potent on offense.

We got the RB that I believe we needed. Mike Ford is enrolled in classes and will be practicing this spring. I can't wait to see what we do on offense next season.

Is that Mike Ford out of Sarasota? If so he was a stud in HS. He went somewhere big and couldn't make grades, or so I read. Hope the kid gets it straightened out.

interesting how Texas jumped 5 spots after barely beating a .500 team in their bowl game.

Yes, it is Mike Ford. Originally committed to Alabama before going to Hargrave Military academy to get his academics in order. He seems to be a very down to earth and humble kid. His cousin is going to be a Senior WR for us, so I am sure the family connection helped us a bit in getting him.

6 SEC teams
4 Big 10 teams
3 Pac 10 teams

Didn't M-fool say that a lot of these teams would finish in the middle of the road in the Pac-10?
Well it looks like the Crap-10 isn't the best conference around. :meds:
