been another great year...a lot of us have been around since the Rome days...

have fun talking smack, stats, etc with you guys...too bad my year had to end like it did last night but hey...there is always later on this year right?

Good luck to all in recruiting, spring ball and what not...SC now goes to bury his head...

(god I hope I don't have any spelling errors) I wouldn't want Sister Mary 420 to crack me across the knuckles with her ruler...

I'll second that.

It was a great year for CFB and for the board. Good luck to everyone fighting over USC's sloppy seconds in recruiting.

Looking fwd to '07 college football.

You think the players and coaches can learn from the past?

I hear Carrol's name tossed around for the Miami gig, if he leaves I'm pretty sure most of those 5-star kids will also bolt.

Bullshit they will. It's all about the school.

I have a hard time believing Carroll would go back to the NFL. He already had stints with 2 different teams and got fired from the last one. Seems like he has it pretty good coaching in college. Looks a lot more happy on the sidelines at USC than he ever did with the Pats or Jets. But it has been another fabulous year of CFB.

Unfortunately Neb has turned into one of those schools where signing-day is the program's biggest event of the year. I miss the days when we could really develop players and with the help of a few difference-making recruits be a national power.

Petey grew up as a Cal fan, being that he grew up 15 to 20 minutes from the school, and went to Redwood High School in Marin County.

From what I've heard... the only reason Pete would leave $C, is for the Cal job.

By the way, Redwood sucked, and I had 3 td's and 224 yards rushing on them in my last season.

I can agree with you about the way osborne did things, BUT, I am really liking callahan more and more, zac was a good quarterback, but the next guy coming in, will take it to the next level, zac had his limitations, I really see the defense improving, I see our running game improving, and I like the job he is doing, no one said it would happen overnight, but, I see us inching closer to the top ten, dont be suprised if we beat usc in september, dont be suprised if we beat texas, dont be suprised if we are back in the big 12 title game, only this time, we beat the fuck piss out of whoever represents from the south,
to me, zac was a good QB, but not the QB to take us to the next level, I like the direction we are going, its a slow but steady charge back to national prominence, I see the finer details, I am a firm believer in what callahan is doing, a lot of husker faithful are skeptical, and point out all the negative things, BUT I am the opposite, cause I can see the bigger picture here, and, mark my words, we are headed back to top ten status real soon,
mark it down, and bank on it, bet the house, bet the kids.

Yep, the season is over, and only a handful of us are "truly" satisified....

Of course mtool because HE knows that Kal is always better than the competition....whether they decide to show it every week or not....

Jeebus, unless you’re a little bitch, a period is your friend. On second thought....
