Not sure if it got much run nation wide, probby no....Bush did announce much of Nebraska a disaster area last week...(save the comments).. these photos are very cool but very expensive. Many still without power.
Word is we may be getting the same treatment this weekend.

Note to self:
I've started a thread in Cul de Smack, must seek therapy.

Snowed enough to cause a blotch of white here and there. Second time I've seen snow on the ground here in the last 9 years.

Snowed at the beach, too...extremely rare.

Funny. While watching ball games last weekend and seeing the weather updates, that's what my buddy who grew up in SE Alaska said about the people of Denver.

Something about "In SE Alaska, we call that 'winter'."

I think his point being that your severe, "shut-the-city-down" storms, are daily life in SE.

I-80 is a Federal road that runs from PA to CA. Might consult the feds on that one.

Naw Goober. That's the interstate. The people in the ditch and jack-knifed are likely a bunch of tards from the south and east or west coast passing through.

Yeah, 'cuz there's all those blue hairs that come NORTH for the winter. Okaaaaaay, gotcha. Then of course, you have all those from the east or west that all shit their pants and said to themselves as THEY were passing through, "What's this light, white, crystaline, precipitation floating down from the sky?" Yeah, they've never seen that shit before over here in the east. And... for the record, what makes you think ANYONE from the east or west coast would drive to the middle of nowhere in the middle of winter?

I've been to Lincoln and Omaha, never to the western side of the shit... errr, state. Not that I didn't already think the eastern end made central Florida look like Jamaica, but man... that is one fucking ugly shithole. Mix in a tree or something, eh? I'm beginning to think the accidents in the pics were a function of sheer stupidity. You'd have to be a raving imbecile to live there.

Said the imbecile who lives in Shittsburg?

Ken, you never have quite gotten that pot vs. kettle thingy, have you?

Just wondering, why do you always feel the need to come lumbering in here with that clumsy style? Yeah, it's a smackboard, but just once, could you avoid cold-cocking yourself with inanity?

You've seen that Dodge commercial where the blue rock-em-sock-em robot get's clocked by a truck that's parked?

That robots name is Ken.

One shit state sticking up for another... Is that how that works when it's only EACH OTHER that you've go to prop yourselves on? Bwha.

Anyways, you may wanna pay attention a bit more. Ken wrote:
The problem is, here in this shithole otherwise known as Pittsburgh
Gone are the dirty, smoky days of Pittsburgh. Too bad those same people that lived through those days are still the greater % of Pittsburgh residents. Just one of the reasons I can't wait to move out of this place, the same place I've virtually spent my whole life. But, with that said, I'm especially hard on this city... so take my comments w/a grain of salt.
You see... I can say a few nice things about the 'burgh if prodded. I'm not ENTIRELY down on the 'burgh... but darned close.
Of course, being prepared at one of the concession stands by a typically overweight and ugly Pittsburgh heiffer. There's so friggin' many of 'em here... ugly heiffers that is, not Primanti bros.
War Wagon wrote:could you avoid cold-cocking yourself
You were saying? Care to take any more swats at the 'burgh all of which I'd AGREE with? You fucking, imbecile.

Nonetheless, I can say this... not too many places I can board a plane out of and actually look forward to coming home from. Those few places either don't know how to plant a tree, mix in a hill, or house the likes of whitey.

You effing tard.

Cool! Doing my leg work for me. You were saying how one State or City is a shithole, again?

Darn it, Ken. You live in the greatest, most beautifullest country in the world.

There's no such thing as a "shithole" in the United fucking States of America.

I've got the state quarters collection to prove it.

30" would shut down the SE AK, if only there were anythingie there to shut down. I dare say we have more wetbacks in the 303 than they have entire population in Alaska. If Californians have no business cracking on anything U&L, SE-AK has no business cracking on anybody for anything unless maybe it's our inability to enjoy chewing on whale blubber

...said the meth mouth from the shit-stain in America's drawers aka Pittsburgh. Trees? Bitch please!!! Nebraska is home of the LARGEST man-made forest in the world!!!! bwaahahhahaa!!! Man-made I tell ya!

Also....I-80's traffic is about 50% or better out of staters. Why would they be there in the middle of winter you ask? Probably because they drove cross country to masturbate at the birth place of Gerald Ford, of course. Or they might just be passing through on one of, if not the busiest federal highway in the nation. This really isn't that hard...unless you're from Shittsburgh, I suppose.

Is that a winter weather advisory I see for the better part of socal? wtf does that mean? I guess it is to remind them that they might need to turn their pool heaters on.

Yes. In fact, this morning there was a thin layer of ice in the shallow end of the pool. I blame Bush for the ice.

Winter weather advisory as in it was in the high twenties in Rivertucky at 7:30 this morning, and 21 degrees up the road at March Field. I don't even want to think what it was like up the hill in Big Bear and Idyllwild. It's still only 43 here now. Fuck you all very much.

^^^ Pussy. It was -4 with a wind chill factor of -19 here a night or two ago. Naw, those temps are cold as hell for your location. I bet Costco is out of stock from all the people making runs on groceries.

This is actually the warmest winter I can ever remember here. Mid 40s has been the constant. We've had two or three snowfalls, with 2" at the most, each time.

Same here. The natural gas execs have to be cursing God and Mother Nature. I heard they're building CO2 recyclers and pumping oxygen into the atmosphere as we speak. ha ha

We're supposed to get a little snow tomorrow. It's been 40 and raining like a mofo for a few days now. This shit's getting a little old.

Look on the bright side, at least that rain hasn't turned into a three-inch thick coating of what looks like freezer fuzz layered with some clear-coat so strong you can drive a vehicle over it and still not make a dent.

I'm thinking of opening an ice-skating rink on my front yard ... hell my whole block. The TV news here was actually doing interviews with the cops this morning asking them how people can keep from falling down. Shit's un-freaking-real.

The cop superviser, btw, was hilarious in his answers to their idiotic questions: "Well, don't go out."

TV: "Is is worse trying to go down ice-covered stairs?"

Cop: "Well, in these conditions, gravity tends to make it more difficult, yes."

Try that for 3 solid months and see how you feel.

Been colder than poo. The comfort from familiarity that 45 and drizzling will bring will be quite nice.
