The Pac 10

Is just sick this year! Could be a 3-4 team elite eight year or multiple final four teams.

UF and UNC are locks for the Final Four.

tOSU could go very far if Oden develops a little more. The guy is a monster.

I don't see aany team in the Pac-10 beating UF. I'm not afraid of one team out west. UCLA? We punked them and would do so again.

no one is a lock for the Final Four.

Good question....I've never been much of a gambler so I probably wouldn't bet more than $50 or $100.......

sc knocks on the Big 10 door...ANYONE ELSE In this FUCKING conference gonna show up?

At least the Big 10 is pretty stout at the top...

Pac 10
SEC

two very very deep and tough conferences...like watching games when I can when these conferences play...

side note tOSU is 2-1 vs the SEC over the last two years in Roundball...beat LSU last year and Tennessee this year while losing to UF...BODE (i think) just kidding SEC fan don't get your panties in a wad...

gonna be a wild tourney...I can see 2 PAC 10 or 2 SEC or 2 Big 10 teams potentially making the Final Four...

but I LOVE THE FACT THAT THE ACC is for SHIT...love it...

(well maybe not for shit but the fact that PUKE is so bad...makes me smile)

The Big 10 this year is like how the ACC was most of the 90's and early 00's, top heavy. During that same time period the B10 had much more depth and was strong from top to (near the) bottom. Now the ACC is deep and the B10 is top heavy. I think the ACC will surprise some people come tourney time.

I'm sure they'll come around but right now tO$U is a lot of hype and little substance. Had the ref$ not helped them out against the Vols they would have lost at home and a solid but far from spectacular IU team gave them all they could handle at home too. With their depth and experience Bucky is the class of the B10 right now.

As for the Pac 10 getting 4 teams to the Elite 8, I highly doubt it. UCLA and Arizona are good enough to get that far but the other teams, while very good, would need a lot of help and upsets in their brackets to pull off such a feat.

Barring injury Florida WILL be playing come Final Four weekend, they have too much talent and experience. And they'll be battle tested in the SEC, who I give the slight edge to for top conference right now.

Is Oregon getting help by beating both of those teams?

Do they have to beat them both again before the rest of the country figures out who the class act of the PAC10 is?

As usual there are probably six to eight teams with a real chance of winning it all. Another 20-30 probably could reasonable get to the Final Four but probably don't have the horses to win the whole thing.

In my opinion the championship contenders are:

Florida
North Carolina
Kansas
Wisconsin
Ohio State
Arizona
UCLA
Possibly Texas A&M

Those teams are listed in no particular order.

Come tourney time I know I won't be picking the Ducks any further than the Sweet 16, while depending on their draws I'll think long and hard about taking UCLA and Zona to the Final Four.

Then you're none too smart.

Shouldn't you wait until the tourney looms near before you start calling shots?

Or do you really think you have it all figured out, based on what pollsters told you to think?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Oregon is "all that" -- I'm just sayin they're a lot batter than most of you seem to think...based upon those zero games you've seen them play.

Funny how when you pull in some McDonald's guys, and keep them together 3 years, things like that happen.

Zona took a big hit in the polls-btw. So now even your own source of info disagrees with you.

And...hello? Neither UCLA or Arizona has managed to beat the Ducks...both have tried. Should they cure cancer to prove themselves next?
