The *NEW* uniforms for next season

The NHL will start using the new slim-fit uniforms during the All-Star game next week...here's an article about the uniforms and a picture of Crosby modeling the Eastern Conference All-Star gear.

It says teams will have the ability to design their uniforms however they please so the biggest change league-wide is just the way the uniforms are made and how they fit...not necessarily the actual design of them. The Blackhawks, Canadiens and Red Wings uniforms should hopefully remain unchanged through the transition.
To me, it's a bigger deal for the players...it should mean squat to the fans unless RBK is charging us hundreds of dollars for jersey off the rack at our local retailer. I just bought a new Zetterberg jersey this year so I'm not about to fork over more money to get the "new" uniform.
From the picture of Crosby, they look okay...I just don't want to see the strange uniform designs that we saw during the Olympics with the vertical stripes. Then again, those unis were a Nike product and they're the kings of horrible uniform experimentation...see Oregon football.
