Jerry is an Arkansas guy...Houston Nutt?

Stoops would be a possibility. Have the contacted him yet?? No way would Jerry Jones go after Callahan. I doubt Cowher leaves the East coast as it sounds like you couldn't pay him enough to go West of North Carolina. Who are they reporting as early candidates?

What is with you people? I'm not even close to a Ferentz homer like most Iowa fans are. If Ferentz left for the NFL tomorrow, I wouldn't even care. Don't get me wrong, he's a good coach, but I don't think he's some sort of God nor have I ever claimed he is. I think we could hire at least an equal to him if he left.

Cold Pizza guys were saying Houston Nutt is a good possibility as being someone Jerry could totally control.

Well, until T. O. and Romo’s parents pay a visit to discuss the direction of the offense.

You guys rrrreally do hate Pinkel, don't you?

Not to sound like a complete dick, but what exactly has Mizzou done in recent history that would make you so upset about Pinkel and the job he has done? I mean...you ARE Missouri, right? Shit, when I think of MU football, I think of the time you almost beat Nebraska, in that 97 game.

I mean, all I have to do is think about my own situation, being a Spartan fan and all. The John L debacle was par for the course for us MSU fans. Hard to get that angry and passionate over a guy's dismissal when you're used to losing.

I think JJ could lure Saban away from 'bama. I doubt Saban would just pick up and leave a team though.

If ever there was a match made in heaven it would be Jerra and Stoops. For bob it would mean a way of stepping down from blOwU gracefully. He is anti-Texas so Jones loves him already. And Jones can continue to build on those Oklahoma ties he loves so much.

Saban would never do that-- "Commitment" "ded

Not to jump on another sooner rumor  but the rivals Texas site and Oklahoma site are speculating that the Stoops to cowboy rumor is actually a done deal.

Well Saban has stayed at Alabama long enough so it's probably time for him to leave.

No he is destined for either Cleveland or Houston.

Stoops bowed out today, so getting him is not in the mix anymore. I don't think Jerry is going to hire a college coach, and I can only pray that he remembers how bad the Boys were when he had a puppet for a head coach. The only college coach I see being in the mix is Charlie Weiss. Other than that, it will more likely be NFL assistants or current head coaches.

I don't think Jones would pay the buyout in Weis's contract. Even if he wanted to, I doubt Weis would leave. The only NFL job he covets is the Giants.

You and I both know that is a fact, but there is a nasty rumor that the spooners will win their bowl game next year.
