I wonder how many OU fans are still thinking he's not a "college level" player?

Who the hell said he was not a D1 level player? They typical Kelvin bashers on radio?

I stiill think he is a liability on defense, just because of his size not ability.

If he isn't 1st round NBA material, he sucks.

I'm thinking our defense is still shit and a travesty while he is on the court but obviously he can score so that makes everything alright huh, skull :?

I still can't believe the whole KSU team couldn't block his dribble as he came over half court! HEY! Here's an idea! Why not close off the lane, or at least foul him, and hope he misses one. He just walked to the front of the rim, practically! All in 4.5 seconds!? Jeesus KSU! Force him to give it up, I'd take my chances from 20 feet before I would let a Guard go all the way to the iron!

I dont know where this whole, "our defense is horrible when he's out there" thing got started. He rarely actually gets shot over in a halfcourt offense, and he's a threat to rip the ball from ANYBODY, especially when they're in a zone.. Couple that with what he brings on offense... including his ability to get the ball into the post to Taj... yeah, he's worth it.

Drew runs around like a chicken with its head lopped off when on defense. During the five game losing stretch I seriously thought a few teams were trying not to laugh as he chased the ball around like and rabid ferret, until they finally show mercy and nail a three while he is standing on the other side of the arc. He is s bit dangerous on the in bounds and one on one on the perimeter but nobody has been stupid enough to allow him to play that style of game in weks now.

What the fuck was up with Kelvin Sampson's over excitement after the game? Dude acted like he had just won a national title after a last second win over a truly pathetic K-State team. I know that was a nice play by Lavender, but shit, it's K-State!!! If anything, I'd be pissed after the game because the game had to come down to the final play. Sampson is better than that.

And K-State deserved to lose that game. What in the fuck were they doing running 4 guys in the backcourt on the inbounds pass? Jim Wooldridge is a terrible coach. He's even bad for K-State standards. Common sense is to run a 1 or a 2 man press. But to only have 1 guy waiting in the frontcourt is just dumb. If Lavender got beyond the press, he was going to score. That poor coaching decision cost K-State the game.

Finally saw the highlight this morning on SportsCenter...great finish. Kind of shades of Tyus Edney a few years back only the basket didn't go in as clean.
