Alice presser....

After being turned down by every eligible pro prospect, Alice dipped into the college ranks to nab an offensive coordinator.
The first 2 minutes Alice talks about Raiduh history (for our resident history buff RJ) he then rambles semi-coherently for a few minutes before introducing Kiffin. Lots of TOUGH talk from the 31 year old Kiffer (much the same BS as his predecessors). At one point Alice actually said, and I kid you not, Kiff will call the plays    .
Kiff rambles on about the outstanding players he has to work with   and how they will "play happy" and how he will "get them the ball". He then flip-flops and says he's not here to make people happy (we'll see how that works for him..sin, Moss, Porter, Gabriel).

The biggest laugher was when he said he was anxious to meet "Raiduh Nation"...no sh!t, he said it. OK Kiff, the next bus for San Quintin leaves at 2:30.

ENJOY

You forgot about the part where Mr Davis referred to Kiffen as "Lance." funny stuff.

sin,

a lowlife, mouthbreather who watches the press conferences that introduce the new coach for teams they dislike, takes extensive notes, and posts them in some shit NFL forum.

A new coach is going to say that but what worries me is that Al Davis also basically said there is a lot of talent on the offensive side of the ball. This would infer that Porter and Moss will definitely be back and that the offensive line is fixable and the problems on offense were Shell & Walsh's fault. While much blame certainly should lay at the feet of those two, there is no doubting that the O-line stinks and Moss and Porter weren't exactly the best guys to have around on a club that is struggling.

Kiff was a little, uh, stiff, but hell, sitting in front of assembled media being introduced as one of 32 head coaches in the NFL is gonna rattle just about any 31-year old.

Naw, the biggest laugher was when Shamu-puffer BlotFan finally realized that his window of opportunity to reach the Super Bowl within the next five years was slammed permanently shut by Tom Brady and Melty Schootmenowbeforewehavetowatchhimcoachanotherplayoffgamesenhiemer...

I agree with just about all of this.

Reading between the lines, yeah, it sounded like Moss and Porter will be back.

Fucking CAPTAIN/quitter Randy Moss. :meds:

A lot of the sacks were due to the gameplan and the lack of QB mobility ..... but the o-line flat out BLEW.
L. Walker is gonzo, and that is a start.
We need a legit center, IMO.
Grove ain't it.
Grove to guard .... or the bench.
Gallery needs a move to either guard or RT, IMO. I'm tired of making excuses for his shit.
Can C. Slaughter be 'decent' at LT .... ?
Boothe showed some ability.

Bottom line is that we need at least 2 new faces on the o-line.
Faces that can actually BLOCK somebody.

We need an NFL tight end.
We need a legit NFL starting running back.
We need a fullback -- Crockett is done, and he wasn't all that great in the first place.
We need a QB.
We need receivers who aren't WORTHLESS PIECES OF CUNT.

If Al believes we already have a lot of pieces in place on offense he's ..... dead already.

Let's get some new faces on offense and let's start using the fucking scoreboard.
That's what it's there for.

Come on Truman you know the only reason some posters on this board went stark raving, deliriously out of their heads over a couple of post game comments is because you, I, and they all know the Bolts are loaded to the gills and set for many years to come. Yes they gave away a playoff game to a far more experienced team, but that will only serve as valuable experience for the future.

To say the window of opportunity was slammed shut is laughable. The Bolts are a very young team with a QB who went 14-2 in his first stint as a starter..ok 14-3. We have the best RB and TE in the league, a freeking stud defense, and the highest scoring offense in the NFL.

No, à l'effet contraire, the window is just opening! Much to the dismay of many, we will only be better for the experience, and lest we forget, this is Marty's last year (of course unless he wins the Super Bowl next year)

Just a word of advice C-Dike.

When you develop a good team, other teams will strip you of coordinators, and talent will soon leave via free agency. Don't act like the Bolts have years and years to look forward to. While the door may not have been slammed shut it sure was closed fucking hard. Good luck.

...C-Dike?? passe' DF...but I'll consider the fact that if there was a bigger choke job than the Chargers, it had to be the implosion of the CrackWagon (I know..passe")(but it will always be fresh) and the loss of the Tuna. What appeard to be a breakout season suddenly turned to sh!t for you. I feel you're pain...you're looking at a trainwreck and we're looking at another Super Bowl run.
Sucks to be DallasFan about now, you're bitter disappointment is duly noted.

You want to compare the ultimate assfucking in Charger history to a letdown by the Boys? The 14-2 Chargers were proclaimed to be the best in the NFL. The Boys were what we thought they were, underachieving bitches. However, the rest of the NFL knew the Boys were no big deal. Therefore don't even start comparing a bobbled hold, to your pathetic franchises shitty playoff performance. Sucks to be on top of the hill only to have your knees taken the fuck out.

I'll be honest, it doesn't look good for the Boys. But I never expected it to look good, with Parcells or without him. You, once again, will be bent over come playoff time next year, and we will ALL be laughing at you. Can't wait for next year.

Don't tell me you didn't pimp the Boys during the season..." Here's to running the table and knocking the snot out of Chicago". or that you were not bitterly disappointed in their 1 point loss in vs. the Seasquawks. Granted, it sucked more for Boltfan, but Dallasfan didn't get off scott-free.

..and it wasn't Boltfan (at least not this one) who predicted a Super Bowl.

but alas, guess who penned this?

"The San Diego Chargers will be Superbowl XLI Champions. Mark it in your book. A unbelievable leader in Rivers, a stud at RB, a sick TE, an offensive line that lets Rivers and LT thrive. A suffocating defense that literally sucks the life from opponents, and special teams play that is second only to the Bears. How can you not look at this squad and scream championship? Oh BD I wish the Boys had a shot, I really do. However there's no denying the Chargers reign as Superbowl champions."

Like you said DF..see ya next year! :D

This has already happened with Cameron to the Dolphins and now Wade Phillips interviewing for the opening in Dallas.

Getting offed in their first playoff game constitutes a "SuperBowl run" in Chargertard's world.

Why even bother piling-on Doltsfan, when they do such a good job of it themselves?

Another Super Bowl run.... another Super Bowl run. You don't even own a Super Bowl run, let alone multiple runs that would necessitate another run.

R-Cack..I'm not touting our record by any means, however you may want to go back and check the 1994 season. That said, I'm looking forward to the upcoming season and another SB run.

Super Bowl run .... ? bwahahahaha

One 'n' done in the playoffs isn't a run of any sort.
