Not too suprising. Loved this quote from Teddy K though.....
Red Nose Teddy wrote:"John has decided to continue to devote his passion, his interest, his energies toward bringing our troops home from Iraq safely," Kennedy said. "And how fortunate they are to know that he will devote his energies to that cause over the next months, hopefully not years."
I am sure the troops can't wait to have his help......

I'm glad you're so current.

Umm Marty that is current because that miscue marked John Kerry as a liability to his party this upcoming election. That and Obama and Hilary.
But "associates" are claming the botched joke as being a factor.

I think what Marty was trying to say is that Kerry is yesterday's news.

Well he finally made up his mind and decided not to run yesterday......
I think my comment was more aimed at how he is going to "Halp" the troops to get home. Those same troops that he insulted 2 months ago.........

Who gives a rats ass? If you're in the military these days, you know damn well you're taking a chance of getting sent to Iraq. Let them vote with their discharge papers if they want to get out.

I would also not put it past the Dems to nominate him a running mate to the winner. he DID get nearly 50% of the vote last time around.

Who he lost to can't run again. Exactly who will the GOP prop up in 2 years?

It wouldn't particularly matter. Whomever it was Kerry would play Mr. Bill to their Mr. Sluggo.
