Well, the refs tried to job ISU again in Lawrence but the Clones fought through it. Now, it they could have just hit ONE DAMN FREETHROW in the closing minutes I wouldn't have had to risk a coronary.
Okay Okie State, we've made it interesting for you. Time to step up.

I could not find the game on TV here. I did forget to check CBS though.

The onlt way the refs tried to job ISU was by putting them on the freethrow line. That was a horrible display of shooting.

The turnover caused by a Jayhawk that went out of bounds, was never touched by a cyclone and was awarded to the Jayhawks?
Homan was standing in position, jumped straight up and Simien jumped into him and it was ruled a foul on Homan? Even the ABC announcers said the clones were screwed on that one.
In the end, it was the poor freethrow shooting that could have lost them the game. And don't try and tell me the refs were putting them there. Stinson and Blaylock were getting grabbed left and right at the end of the game.

Iowa State was getting SCREWED by the zebras today. That game had no buisness going to OT.

Are you that much of an iodot twister? No shit they were geting grabbed left and right. They were up 10 and couldn't throw the ball in the ocean from 15 feet, of course KU is going to foul. The refs could have swallowed their whistles and the rest of us that horrible display from the line.
Do you have eyes or a thought of your own? The play you are talking about was called right, look at the replay, the ball went of ISU. I'll give you the Homan foul, but announcers are supposed to be subjective and call the action.

I thought complaining about refs was reserved for losses and Dook games. :?

Little bitter aren't we cueball.....
I must have seen the replay about 20 times...not once did I see it hit an ISU player before going out of bounds. The announcers didn't see it either.
But of course I expect this kind of stuff in Lawrence, where you can score and uncontested 3-pointer between opponents freethrow attempts.

Bitter about what? You're the one bitchin about getting jobbed when your team won. The way you're carrying on is like it was the '72 Olympics and you bet your mortgage on the under for the number of times the final horn will sound.

Hey dipshit, we were about to get fucked. The refs did almost everything in their power to do it. We came out ahead. No complaints. See you in the tournament.
I would continue to talk to you but I see you are a Patriot, Red Sox. Tar Heel fan. How fuckiing convenient.

Wrong. OU was called for 3 more fouls than KSU though the FTA were the same. The refs kind of let them play.
OU is not a good basketball team right now. Kansas should win on Monday.

This is sad. I'm relegated to trading smack with a Big XII also ran. Smack is smack, so I'll stick around.
I'd love to see ISU in the tourney, but unfortunately membership has it's privileges. While your team will be lucky to survive the 8/9 game, the Heels will be playing the winner of the play in game or some agricultural school that catches lightning in a bottle and wins their tourney. Either way, you'll want none of this.

JR Giddens is the worst shooter in the history of basketball. Keith Langford and Aaron Miles are a close 2nd.

Tar Heels fan, eh?
Oh yeah, that's right... New York City still doesn't have a college team worth a shit.

You can't even win gracefully, can you?
Cue hit the nail on the head... down 10 points, KU had to foul... any basketball fan knows that. Not our problem, or the refs' fucking problem, if your team can't hit the free throws.
STFU and enjoy your season's highlight.

Hey, I'm not bitching about the fouling KU had to do to get the lead down. I was merely pointing out that KU had more than 5 guys on the court trying to make sure KU had a chance to win. And just for added emphasis, I thought a refresher on the phantom 3 pointer was in order.
Damn KU fan is bitter. Considering that ISU is 3-3 (should be 4-2) in Lawrence you would think KU fan would be accostumed to losing to ISU by now.

You claim that you're not bitching, and then you reset your bitch.
Ponderous.

Speaking of a refresher, you might try vinegar & water on your vagina.

Bitter? Nah. KU deserved to lose that game, the way they played. Waking up in the final five minutes was nice to tie the game, but why they keep relying on Keith Langford to pull their asses out of the fire is beyond me. Sure, he tied the game for overtime... but teams are figuring out that fouling Langford if he tries to slash again is just as effective as blocking his shots back in his face.
Being able to put the ball in someone else's hands at the end of the game might just keep opposing teams honest... so why not give it to Simien, who had hit 25 straight free throws by the end of that game, and has a fadeaway jump shot that is deadly outside of the paint?
