I was watching a movie and then my brother calls me up and goes "dude, you watching the Kansas game?" He mentioned it was 35-6 and Nebraska hadn't scored in 10 minutes, so I just had to turn my movie off so I could laugh at Nebraska for that performance. That was some good stuff. Everytime Kansas didn't score on a possession, the crowd went nuts and then when they finally scored they cheered even louder. I watched a little of the 2nd half and you could tell Kansas just wanted to get that game over with. I'm assuming their 2nd half effort was probably similar to the entire game against Oral Roberts??
Was anyone else (other than Mook, of course) rooting for Kansas to continue the run and make it something like 50-8 at half? I was. I was pissed when Nebraska started scoring.

My story was a little similar to jon's. i was at a buddy's watching the Nuggets shoot themselves in the foot (at home) against the Bobcats.....and the score came on. 41-8. we watched for a bit, but he's kind of a knucklehead and prefers the NBA.
watching Carmelo Anthony play defense is a catastrophe of non-effort and total lack of hustle. sad.

You know, you could just replace "Carmelo Anthony" with "95% of the NBA." I've pretty much gotten to the point where I don't watch more than a few minutes of NBA games until about the beginning of April. It's become completely unwatchable. I miss the old NBA where it was actually good basketball. Occasionally, I'll pull out my old Bulls tapes from the 90's and watch those games because they bring back some great memories. I still catch an occasional Bulls game and I still want them to do well, but not like I used to. I find myself paying more attention to the Lakers just because Phil Jackson is the coach and I'm a big fan of his.

Are you kidding? Did you see how fast the guy ran back on "defense" after dropping the cheap shot?
In reality, he's a much more intense, enthusiastic defender than the reigning MVP...which is why that award was such a travesty...twice.

I'd favor Dirk or Kobe over Nash...but maybe I'm biased, since I don't think a guy who plays ZERO defense other that waving his arms around at halfcourt ever deserves the MVP.
