My client has a directory with about 200 Word Documents. They want me to list all of the file names from this massive directory into a separate word document. I am not going to copy/paste these files one by one unless I have to. Isn't there a way to dump this into a file via my Command Prompt? Something like...
CD "Directory Name" Enter
DIR/W>Ucant.Doc Enter
Let the pile-on begin.... TIA

Assuming you wanted the wide format, the syntax you're using looks correct.
"DIR/W>Ucant.Doc Enter "

I usually just ask one of the librarians for help. See if Gladys is working today. If not, ask for Phyllis.

You know what would be really cool? If this place had a forum for Tech related questions.
