DA BEARS!!!!!

Okay, so I'm aware this is the CFB board, but the real sport happens to be having their championship game on Sunday and DA BEARS are in it and so I had to post this.......
Whose everyone picking? I originally picked Indianapolis, but I've decided to go straight homer and pick the Bears. X-factor = Devin Hester. If Ellis Hobbs can bust some big returns against the Colts, then Hester could really be in for a big day. I had been worried about Grossman's eratic play, but with my Bears goggles on I foresee a 300 yard performance with 1 or less INT's out of him. Jones/Benson combine for 150 yards and the Bears defense shuts down the Colts offense. Dallas Clark has 10 catches for 190 yards. Bob Sanders lays the wood. But no one else on the Colts does anything.
Bears 40
Colts 3
What say you??
WAR DITKA!!

It'd be great if we had an NFL forum for a post like this. Then the people who follow both could vote for it in that forum.

I don't post in the NFL forum and, looking at it, neither does many people. Besides, Sunday is a national holiday. This really could be posted on any board.
Seriously though, what's your pick?

i say bears, if only b/c i live in chicago, not to mention my first conscious memories of football came when i lived here in 85. gary fencik make me think i could make it pro as a slow-ass cracker db.
i haven't been reading much media about the game, but my impression is that the colts are supposed to walk away with the game? funny, i'd understand that if they were dominating everyone they played (a la osu) and playing a team everyone figures got there with smoke and mirrors (florida), but 12-4, and all four of those losses coming away from home? hardly dominant.

You haven't heard much media and you live in Chicago?? Dude, turn on 670. Boers and Bernstein are probably masterbating to Ditka right now as we speak. Either that or the Wise Guys are on stroking it to their favorite Jim McMahon poster? Chicago sports radio is about the only thing I miss from living there. I couldn't stand that shit......every fucking years White Sox fans would call in and predict a 100 win season even in years it was blatantly obvious they were gonna lose 100 games. And Chicagoans still have a fucking hard on for Ditka. Some of those turds think he's still Da Coach of Da Bears. Boers, Bernstein, Mike North, Doug Buffoon......all douchebags on 670.

I should re-word one of those sentences.....
Chicago sports radio is about the only thing I DON'T miss about that city.

well, if you've ever seen the umich field hockey girls stretching as you drove past the field on state st, you'd understand my interest.

Rowing chicks are much hotter than the field hockey ones.

in general, perhaps, but i don't have much to go on aside from my time at umich, and the field hockey team then was definitely hotter than the rowing squad. besides, it wasn't often i drove past the huron river and caught sight of rowing chicks in bun huggers streching in their canoes.

I'm taking the Colts. Peyton will silence doubters and Rex Grossman is going to have three interceptions and a fumble to boot.
God I hope I'm right.

God I hope you're wrong, Chief!
By the way, I see 2 votes for Ditka!! Nice!

taking the 6.5-7 with chicago
i read where indy corners are out or severly hurting. bears have big physical wr, they can expose that, and backdoor cover with a late td.
rack the back door bears cover
