For whatever reason, I was slow to take to the RSS side of the web. In recent weeks, that has changed - and I'm fully into it now.
I highly recommend Sage, a plugin for firefox. It has a handy Discover Feeds button that makes building a bookmark list of RSS feeds quite easy.
Some newsreader clients are resource-intensive...Sage uses minimal resources.
