VANCOUVER, Wash. - A Vancouver man accused of faking retardation for nearly two decades so that his mother could collect Social Security benefits has agreed to plead guilty.
Pete Costello, 26, is scheduled to plead guilty Friday in U.S. District Court in Tacoma.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Norman Barbosa said Costello would face a standard sentencing range of six months to one year in prison and will be asked to repay the $59,226 he took from the government.
Barbosa says beginning shortly before his eighth birthday, Costello began faking retardation in interviews with agency officials and psychologists, all at his mother's behest.
Rosie Marie Costello was indicted with her son last fall on conspiracy and fraud charges. Prosecutors say the mother pulled the same trick with her daughter, who has not been charged. Court documents say all told, Rosie Marie Costello raked in $222,000 on behalf of the children.

I see how this could happen, though. In Spuncouver, it's hard to distinguish the authentic retarded folks from the rest of the citizenry. About the only way to tell, is that the special-needs segment has more teeth, and less symptoms of methmouth.

in missouri, our retards wear holographic stickers and carry certificates of authenticity to verify their retardation. of course, the certificates have to be laminated to be drool-resistant. when we see one that looks like a retard but doesn't have the sticker and the certificate, we just figure he's related to war wagon.

This fag dude kept his "partner" on ice in the frezzer for the last year or so to keep collecting his pension.
The construction dude's ( sup Dins ??) had to move a blanket covering the frezzer, and opened it and found the stiff all duct taped up.
Rack self storage of a stiff to keep the pension checks coming.
