"McKnight said USC coach Pete Carroll set up a conference call so he and Curtis could talk to Bush and ease their worries that USC might wind up under sanctions.
"We addressed that directly and we were satisfied," Curtis said.
He said Carroll told him that USC is not being investigated."

There is zero chance IMO that the NCAA and Pac-10 isn't going to at least look into the bush case. Petey should have said SC isn't
currently being investigated.
From the article: "McKnight said USC coach Pete Carroll set up a conference call so he and Curtis could talk to Bush and ease their worries that USC might wind up under sanctions."
I thought contact between a recruit and an alum in the NFL was prohibited?

letters and phone calls are legal
Ignorance to the NCAA rules seems rampant by other schools fans, not by USC's staff

Yeah, it'd be nice to see them talk to USC, and Pete, and Reggie, and anybody else they had living in that fucking house that a college player's family had bought for them for being the family of said college player.
But that's legal, right schmuck?

What other schools did she apply too?
Are you really going to let your little girl go to school in the ghetto?
Is she "black"???
No, seriously...
Is your daughter "black"?

No, seriously...
SC sends out their acceptances way early.
We haven't heard from any of the Ivies or Pomona College or CalTech or UC (I can't believe she wants to go to Berserkley), except for Irvine which told her that if she applies she's automatic.

That's the problem. She couldn't catch a pass to save her life, but she does know the difference between indefinite, demonstrative, relative, interrogative, and reflexive or intensive pronouns. She could also tell you the capitol of Serbia-Montenegro.

Well, she's smarter than you, obviously.
So, did 'furd pull the admissions bullshit?
Save $30,000 a year, and let her get a
real education.

She applied early at The Farm and got rejected. Who knows what they're looking for. I've decided that they're a bunch of arrogant elitist pussies who don't deserve to have my progeny attend there anyway. My nephew has two parents and two grandparents who graduated from there and was a star both academically and athletically in HS, and he didn't get accepted there either. Went to Cornell and is now in Med School in Vermont. He's better off where he is. Fuck 'em.
BTW, Cal is now up to about $25K per year for in-state students. Quite a bargain if you like sharing all of your classes with 600 zipperheads.

Congrats that she got invited to the Trojan family. With academics where they are at this point, as a father, you must be very proud.

Very proud. SC has actually become quite selective in the past few years, and it's definitely nice to get the first acceptance under our belt. My step-daughter went there, as did my younger brother and they are both quite successful professionally, ie they both make a hell of a lot more $$ than I ever will. She could do worse, obviously, but the cost is definitely a barrier.

$25K is for the professional schools.... still a bargain.
I think tuition by itself is about $8. I think the cost of everything, including dorm housing which is always going to be notoriously expensive, is around $20-$22.
Fee details are here:

For students who live in the residence halls, the in-state annual "budget" for all costs is close to 25K per year:

Good luck to your daughter.

NCAA rules state that an Alumn can speak to a prospect on the telephone ONLY if the prospect initiates the call. the Alumn May Not have a recruiting conversation, but may refer questions about the athletics program to the athletics department staff
Carroll and McKnight had been talking on the phone, Mcknight had questions about what went on with Reggie Bush and the guy in San Diego, Caroll called Bush, got the whole story and then told McKnight what had gone on. Reggie explained to Pete what was going on with the extortion case and how it wouldnt effect the programs future and Pete told McKnight

I'm not sure which is funnier... Seer fucking with jimmah and knowing he wouldn't get it, or jimmah not getting it and responding seriously with a "fight on"???
$C seriously has one of the "slowest" fan bases of any school in the country.
And you fuckers that have had to deal with them, know what I'm talking about.
