MUSE opening for My Chemical Romance

Post by Fat Bones »

How does this happen?
I finally get the chance to catch a Muse show, and it's gonna be abbreviated to allow for 13 yr old girls to get their anguish on?

I saw Muse at a small club here about two years ago. NO ONE was there. They were amazing. I love love love love love love love love love love them.

Are you gonna stay for MCR? I wouldn't.

I am bummed Muse is having to open up for people. They should be much bigger than they are I think.

They have sold out in LA, and will headline two shows there.

Wow, 5 whole shows in the US. Sounds like a bunch of last minute throwaway gigs to bridge the gap between their East Asia Tour and their European Tour.

Of course one of the dates is in Portland.

I'm not sure what unremarkable bands playing in Portland, Maine has to do with me...

Maine, it's the new Oregon.

Sucks much, eh?

Sin-

Guy who has to attend a fucking Snow Patrol concert to see the Silversun Pickups...but I will definitely leave before SP hit the stage. War opening acts and leaving the wanna-be Emo's alone with their bitch band.

Somehow I think I could tolerate Snow Patrol over MCR...
I just don't want an short set. There is a lot a material to cover, and I prefer the older stuff to their latest work.
Oh well, we finally get to use those dust covered TOOL tix soon as well.

Hope you got to use 'em. Tool has cancelled all shows for a while as Danny tore a muscle while shredding the drums.

What the suck.

Still buzzin' after the short but smokin' set they played in SA yesterday... Blistering.

MCR was good for what they do, I guess. If Walt Disney wanted to put together a boy band/punk/cabaret troupe, they'd be it. Loud enough to blow my shirt back a little...that's always verrry cool. It was one the guitarists birthday, so they brought on a full mariachi band complete with pinata. Nice touch.
