Your guys were getting hacked left and right down low and Mizzou was never called. Refs sucked tonight, and it sucks winning like this.

Then again, Bob Huggins whined his Wildcats into two victories over the Tigers, so we're still owed one.

tough loss, but we are what we are. and if we aren't unconscious from beyond the arc we're not even in it to give ourselves the chance to miss 2 front ends of 1-1's in the last minute or whatever.

looking at the rest of our schedule, UT, at KState, KU.....we could easily lose out and even miss the new, smaller field NIT.

I'll trade you our senior "guard" for your freshman. If you're a senior leader on a team, shooting 85% from the stripe, you don't miss the front of end one-and-one's. Not if you want to leave your school labeled "winner" instead of "choker."

And yes, Biz, the refs did suck, but we were missing a lot of shit that we should have hit and we were going to the basket like pussies instead of men. The refs blew, but not as much as our effort.

Say what? Never thought I'd see the day when somebody apologized for a win.

Mizzou was called for 19 fouls, OU 21.

Mizzou shot 21 FT's, OU 16.

Yeah, huge disparity there.

Just mebbe, as a Tigers fan and all, you should drop in here racking Keon Lawrence instead of sucking Sooner cock.

Putz.

He's talking about the fouls that WEREN'T called though, so they're not going to pop up on that stat radar. I'm not blaming the loss on the officiating, but it didn't hurt you, that's for certain. You were getting a LOT of bail-out calls on sh*tty, out-of-control drives, etc... and then, Griffin especially, was getting hacked like Charles Smith against the Bulls and with the same outcome.

You guys were just spoiled by Nolan and Quannans five years ago.

Wasn't Neal holding his shooting hand after he dove for the ball that Lyons stole? When he came to the stripe, I figured the hand would hurt him. He still was amazing earlier. Your perimeter shooting was sick. Everytime a guard drove to the paint it seemed like his #1 priority was not to shoot but find a shooter.

Can Maze shoot the ball? I liked watching him dribbling but can he come up with a shot?

WW,
I'm all about the Mizzou Tiger basketball (brought to you by MFA Oil and the Vitae Society). It's my fave sport. As much as I love a win, I'd rather it be more balanced. I guess the voctory made it easier to tolerate as opposed to the previous home games (Iowa St., Nebraska, K. St.) where the refs treated us like the Washington Generals.

i think you mean Hollis Price. although, Nolan Johnson came up HUGE for OU down the stretch in 00. sadly, ironically, he ended his career missing a last minute front end of a 1-1 in the first round of the NCAA that failed to put away Indy State who subsequently forced OT and got the W. otherwise, Nolan would have been one of my favorite Sooners of the Sampson era if only for the last 10 minute "beat you off the dribble anytime I want to" undressing he doled out to Desmond Mason in the Sooners come from way behind win to close out the old GIA.

No. That's why, right now, he reminds me of a young, really tiny, Jason Kidd. He's got all of the physical tools to become a really good college basketball player, especially his ball-handling and quickness, but, sometimes, he plays faster than the game will allow. He really played well, for him, the other night at Mizzou. I'm sorry for him that his teammates did not play well when it counted...

Yeah, ok bace... but RACK! Keon Lawrence anyway, goddamnit! Did you not see that sweet move he made breaking an OU defenders ankles and then draining the go ahead jumper with 46 seconds left? Fucking nails! Not yes, but HELL YES! Then cooly draining 4 free throws in the last 12 seconds to ice the game?

Is it just me, or does dude remind somewhat of a (albeit slighter) Anthony Peeler?

Anyways, that was just a great, hard-fought win. After the previous home losses that you mentioned, I don't care how it went down. Mizzou shouldn't lose at home to any damn freaking body.

Man, I was wondering about this Mike Anderson guy. Not anymore. His players buy in, and I'm as stoked about this program as I've been in a long, long time.
