Now comes Crips Vs Blood, a searingly critical yet poignant documentary on the realities of Ghetto life. I don't think America will be able to survive in its current state for much longer. What bitter irony that it was made by two young French auteurs

Theres a movie called Bastards of the Party that does a great job of chronicalling the whos, wheres and whys of the Crips and Bloods.
In it, it mentions a great book called City of Quartz where the film gets its title.
