The move makes sense...a skilled linebacker familiar with the 3-4 scheme going to another 3-4 team.

Dude-nate clements signed with the niners, Deilman assraped the vag discharges, steinbach signed with cleveland, and the rams signed drew bennett.......you going to start a fucking thread for ALL of that as well?

:meds: :meds:

Look, While i appreciate that you bring something else to the proud NFL forum table other than the useless fucking drivel of certain posters for whom the scrollwheel was invented for (See: M2ool, Sissyroo, Turning TRIX, ect.) you need to lay the fuck off the submit button until the frenzy is finished.......unless some crazy shit like this takes place:

From PFT-

BUCS TO SHIP PLUMMER TO RAIDERS?

There's speculation in league circles that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will eventually trade quarterback Jake Plummer to the Oakland Raiders.

The thinking is that the Raiders are interested in acquiring Plummer as a short-term starter while expected No. 1 overall pick JaMarcus Russell gets ready to play, but that there's no way that the Raiders and Broncos ever could have done business together.

Enter the Bucs, who could end up being the straw man for a deal that puts Plummer in silver and black.

Stay tuned.

OK, I'll stop starting new forums. In all fairness, I bet you anything PatFan would've started this thread at some point anyway since this is a notable signing.

S'all good Shoalz-save for whole 'cousin plowing' thing, you're good peeps.

Stick around-you're the lone Lion representative, and hearing how you want Millen fired will be a nice break in between my plans to occasionally snipe our neckfeeding floater of a daywalker called Alcula, and Bucfans plans to watch the Glazers fall to their deaths.

I can't believe that Millen is actually doing a decent job this offseason though. I still want him gone for all of the futility we've had to deal with but I give the guy some credit. He makes a nice trade with Bly and getting two starters and now he added Dewayne White to the defensive line. He's addressed three need areas...running back to fill-in for Jones, a right tackle and pass-rushing defensive end. They could've gone the way of the draft to fill any of those holes but now

I'm starting to believe they're setting themselves up to trade down. Maybe stay in the top 10 and they can take a guy like LaRon Landry to pair up with Kennedy and give the Lions are pair of hard-hitting safeties. Terrence Holt is a free agent and I don't expect him back...at least not as a starter. I think they could turn that #2 pick into more pieces for them...one guy in this draft isn't going to make a huge difference or at least not make an impact right away. Unless Russell falls to them...I don't see any guy early in the draft they need to take.

Only reason I was going to do that was because it seems out of character for the Pats to throw that type of scratch at 'any' player, let alone being so active this early in free agency. They have also signed Kyle Brady, Sammy Morris and have nabbed Wes Welker from the Dolphins to an offer sheet. Lotta action for a team that usually bides its time in FA.
