The Packers let go of FB William Henderson today leaving only Brett Favre as the only player leftover from their Superbowl team. Thanks for the solid 12 years William, you will be missed!

Patriots still have two at least from that 96 team that I know of. Tedy Bruschi and Troy Brown. Don't think I am missing any but I could be wrong......

For a few years I thought he might be the most underrated FB in the game. Good career. Nothin' but love for Hendo.

And people wonder why they can't get good jobs now a days. It's called judgement! If you misuse words you're going to be flamed which is exactly what happened to our friend Cosmo here. Don't make me start a thread or encourage the mods to post a crash course on the proper use of the English language. :meds:

Anyway, Favre is coming back for at least one more season (how many years have we been saying that) but things are going to be a hell of a lot worse for him and even if they get Moss (which won't happen) he still won't have anyone good to throw to. Now he has no runningbacks now that Ahman "fumble" Green is on the Texans.

He should just hang it up before he goes through another 4-12 season and this year they might be lucky to hit that mark.

That makes Favre the 2nd oldest active holdover from a Super Bowl winning team? Not oldest by age, but dating back the furthest is what I mean.

Bryant Young resigned with San Fran, he dates back to the '94 title.

Sean Landeta was on the Giants roster this year for a few games and he dates back their '90 title. Other than that I don't think there are any before Favre.

Damn, time flies. Seems like just yesterday that dude won a Super Bowl. He was better when he drank booze.
