An outstanding father and daddy
Unfucking believable. Dude hates his ex-wife and mother in law so much, he drives a plane into the house murdering his daughter and offing his miserable self.
Dude, I don't care how fucked up your life was. You don't take it out on your kid.
It's not her fault, ok? God blessed you with a child, and you did what? There's a special place in hell reserved for you, "daddy".

BEDFORD, Ind. -- Eric Johnson had spent a weeklong vacation in Cancun with his 8-year-old daughter, Emily, and was supposed to drop her off at school Monday morning.
Crash killed 2: Police believe Eric Johnson took his daughter, Emily, 8, on a small plane Monday and purposely crashed it into his former mother-in-law's house to spite his ex-wife, Beth Johnson.
Her mother, Beth Johnson, was to pick her up at the end of day.
Instead, the divorced father took Emily to the city's airport, where he was a student pilot, and rented a single-engine Cessna.
About an hour later, they crashed into her grandmother's house. Father and daughter died, but the grandmother, Vivian Pace, was not injured.
Beth Johnson had reached her ex-husband by cell phone shortly before the crash, said Pace, her mother.
Pace described the phone conversation, saying that Eric Johnson told his ex-wife, "I've got (Emily) and you're not going to get her back," and that Emily said, "Mommy, come get me."

What sick circumstance? Dude was able to swing a trip to CanCun. It's not like he was destitute. Yeah, he was prolly in debt up to his eyeballs, and his ex-wife was trying to bust his balls, but so? I just can't understand how anyone can intentionally hurt their own child.Bobby42 wrote:Welcome to the world today. Sick, sick circumstances.
Hell is filling up pretty quick. And, when there's no more room...
I believe that Hell has an infinite amount of room, Bobby.
Very niceBobby42 wrote:Welcome to the world today. Sick, sick circumstances.

RACK
So, Wags, when you get to hell, drive your Chevrolet to the far wall (turn 4 btw  ) and tell me what's on the other side. Since it is like, infinite.

How could there be infinite room? Would you not be intimating that time as we know and experience it would never end?War Wagon wrote:There IS no other side roz, and no going back, either.
It is quite different to say "there is plenty of room for another dead democrat*" than to say "there will always be room for dead democrats".
I'll give you a hint. Where does hell end up?

No, Todd. Nice try, but I doubt that he was simply seeking attention.Toddowen wrote:Hell has seen entries throughout history just as horrendous as Eric Johnson...nothing new here.
EJ just wanted to put his own bold signature on his claim to shocking posterity. He knew he'd be competing with the Anna-Nicole Smith saga for attention and did what any attention seeking murderer of ones own children would do with the tools he had available.
Dude had to be insanely consumed with utter fucking hatred for his ex. There's no other way to explain it.
One should think carefully before saying "I Do".
I got rucky.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - A father killed his two young children and himself by setting his car on fire in the parking lot of his estranged girlfriend’s workplace Monday, police said.
Hipolito Ortiz, 37, set the car ablaze in an industrial park in Springfield shortly before 10 a.m., police said. Inside the car, the bodies of 2-year-old Adrian Ortiz and 6-year-old Genesis Ortiz were burned beyond recognition, police said.
The children’s mother, whose name was not released, was at work inside Harvey Industries when firefighters responded to the parking lot at 9:30 a.m.
Police Capt. Robert Cheetham described Ortiz and the mother as estranged for the past month. Ortiz, however, drove the woman to work, dropped her off at 7 a.m., and planned to spend the day with their two children.
”What transpired between the drop off and the murder-suicide, I have no idea,” Cheetham said.
Police didn’t rule out that the children were killed before the fire.
”It’s as bad as it gets,” Cheetham said of the burned crime scene.
The mother was distraught upon learning what happened, and was brought to a local emergency room, said Dennis Leger, a spokesman for the fire department.
Waltham-based Harvey Industries manufactures doors and window frames and operates a warehouse in Springfield. The company said in a statement: ”We are surprised and saddened by the events that occurred in the parking lot of our Springfield manufacturing facility earlier today.”
The company offered grief counseling to its employees.

- Turn on boom box

- Light match

Not really sure why you're getting so worked up over this story... There are over 300 million people in the US. There's going to be at least a psycho or two per day who choose to off themselves and others in spectacular fashion.War Wagon wrote:Unfucking believable. So? Doesn't mean that I have or should become desensitized or inured to it.OCmike wrote: Not really sure why you're getting so worked up over this story... I guess what bugs me the most about this guy is here he seemingly had everything in the world going for him. Aside from the bitter divorce thingy, that is. I didn't post the whole story because it was too long, but this chump was supposedly a pillar of the community and all that happy horseshit.
Mike, this wasn't a crime of passion committed in the heat of the moment or in an alcohol/drug induced haze, as many of these horror stories are. This was pre-meditated, cold blooded murder of the only thing that should have meant anything to him. His trusting daughter, for crying out loud. I don't know if you have any kids OC, but by god, that just goes against everything that's right and proper. A parent should be willing to die for their kids, not hurt them in some fucked-up vendetta.
Maybe it's just me who feels this way.
I'm not saying that you should be desensitized to the violence in the story, I just don't get the shock and outrage. But at the same time, I'm also a realist and get that sometimes people just snap. It's going to happen.
If nothing else, this story should teach us all that anyone can snap, even those that seem to have everything to live for.
I have a 5 y/o son and would naturally be completely devastated if something were to happen to him, as any parent would be.
I don't think that the guy in this case was thinking like he was murdering his daughter, but more that he wanted to hurt his wife/MIL in the worst way possible and to him that would mean killing their daughter/granddaughter. There's no way that a rational person can ever "get" with this type of thinking, which is why those that do such things are referred to as "psychotic".
