Last night I woke up and couldnt go back to sleep, so i got up to get some water. Well while i was up i decided to watch some tv until i passed out again. Well the cable just switched the channels around so when i went to fox it was on Cspan instead. Well before i could change it, i saw one of the most horrible things I have ever seen on tv. I dont know if it was a dude or a chick. The things name says chick but the face and fake looking hair says dude. Its name is Karen Shaw Petrou.

Just like a car wreck i couldnt look away. The guy over its left shoulder looked like he was about to throw up and the guy over its right shoulder would not open his eyes, not in a sleeping kind of way but holding them shut out of fear. The picture below doesnt do it justice. It was horrible, horrible i say.



Trots if you like, but I had to tell this scary tale to somebody. Fuck CSPAN and fuck the cable company for switching channels just to fuck with people.

I felt the same way when I'd fall asleep on the couch, wake up at like 2am, and somehow....some way, THIS fugger would find his way onto my tv screen.



I swear to god, I thought I was watching that Twilight Zone episode, "Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder".

FYI, Clicked over to fox, not Fox News retards, to see if they were showing some old king of the hill. They werent so i clicked on over to the history channel.

Their political hubris and bias is as bad, if not worse, than CNN. The on-air "talent" is an apples and oranges argument between either network. I get the preference of one point of view over another when it comes to how each network presents their news. But that is more akin to style over substance. And from where I watch, none of those networks are any better than the other when it comes to actual, non-partisan news content. If I'm forced to choose, I'll watch CNN, but only because I have some personal and professional ties to it. However I don't find CNN specifically better as I find it more palatable. Both cable outlets are equally guilty of their political and commercial agendas taking precedence over honest-to-god-actual-news. To me, that makes them both mirror-image halves of a badly tarnished coin.

So again, I ask, what makes Fox better?

You didn't strike a nerve at all. I felt I might have with you just b/c you are the one with the problem with me. I am not going to every board and following you around. I dont need a roomate to make rent. About 2 and half years ago when I was 23 and a year out of college I figured since I am going to be paying rent I might as well save money. A lot of people in their mid 20s have roomates these days. My friends in DC who work for the state have roomates and some friends of mine in Naples do the same. I am saving up to buy a house/townhouse and it's more cost effective at this point to have a roomate and split rent.

I think FOX News does a better job at covering world events instead of constantly beating a dead horse w/ the Iraq War. I actually think their coverage is more objective. They are willing to agree and disagree w/ the Administration's policies instead of putting them down at every step of the way like CNN does.

I'd like to hear somebody give an honest answer to Cicero's question as to how NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, and MSNBC are somehow less bias than Fox(which no doubt it is biased, very biased). I'd much rather read honest takes on that than read a bunch of folks calling Cicero a tard.

Remember, I said I found CNN not to be so much better than FOX, just easier to digest. And again, that falls into the area of simple, personal preference. If you can't recognize the similarities of CNN and FOX as mirrored by their equally opposite perspectives (read that as agendas), then you fall into the same trap most t.v. viewers do. Not thinking for yourself. I mean goddamit, if Wolf Blitzer or Bill O'Reily says it's true, it's fuckin' gospel!

Actually, no it isn't. It's just opinion. And therein lies the problem with both networks.

As for MSN...haven't watched it enough to be sure. CNN and FOX are both guilty of pontification and sabre rattling. CNN pundits tend behave more self-righteousness with blind loyalty to all things conservative. CNN isn't quite as pompous or buffoonish. They're more like the dirty hippies of news. Damn hippies.
