Is ultimate sixth man awaiting WSU in O-Rob? Image
HOLY MOLY. WSU fans refer to the Palouse as God's Country. But they're at a disadvantage of Biblical proportion this week when it comes to invoking divinity. Oral Roberts University, the Cougs' first-round NCAA tourney foe, was born from "the fires of evangelism." It's a self-dubbed "charismatic" school. Not sure exactly what that means, but fear not if Coach Sutton starts speaking in tongues.

wazzou is hardly inventing ORU smack.

i have a cousin who played baseball for ORU, a pretty good baseball school....they make the NCAA tournament most years....and he says it's not that bad.

Against most other teams, ORU would be prime for an upset, but against WSU ... probably not, given that the Cougs are third-rate, even in their own state.

Upset city could end up being ass-kicked city.

Spoken like a closet 900 ft. tall Jebus fan. ;)

I'm currently at my hotel in between sessions in Sac-Town. ORU was actually better than I thought they'd be though. Left Vandy-GW at half cause it was a yawn. Waching Digger and Dickie swining off Vandy's and the SEC's nuts. Oh well, Seth Davis and Jay Bilas picked ORU over my boys.

Tonight should be fun with UCLA and IU v. Zags.
