Gus Johnson is the BEST at covering these games, injecting emotion, excitement, and has a knack for calling games that create the unexpected...Way to fuck up cbs - bullshit.

Agree that he's entertaining, but he also has a knack for botching the most simple calls. For instance, stating that a player, currently playing, has 5 fouls when he only has 4. That sorta' thing.

Process of elimination...so it's going to be Nantz/Packer, Enberg/Bilas, Lundquist/Raftery, Brown/Elmore?

That does suck that Gus got the shaft...he's one of the stars of this time of year. Nothing personal towards JB but Gus is a staple of the tournament coverage and didn't realize he even did play by play until I heard his voice this past week for the Sacramento games.

Gus is awesome. There is no reason why JB should be brought in to replace him. JB has been doing Pro Football for 10 years now. His knowledge of the college game is no where near Gus.

They should have Gus sit in with nantz/packer because I have no idea how Packer is going to call the game with Hansbrough's man stick planted in his grill...

I despise Gus Johnson. He has that lame "Top 40 DJ radio voice" that is way over the top for my liking. It sounds too fake. He's a lot of noise with very little substance. I don't need some fucking idiot screaming through the TV telling me what he thought just happened. This is your typical GJ call:

"Oh my God, a 3 pointer by Jones to cut the lead to 2!!! I just busted a nut!!!!! Can you believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????"

Meanwhile, here is what actually just happened:

A 2 pointer (he had both heels on the line, not even close to a 3. No ref signaled a 3) by Johnson cut the lead to 5.
