Like a hellhound on his tail, the ghost of Bernie continues to dog Rudy.
Rudolph W. Giuliani told a grand jury that his former chief investigator remembered having briefed him on some aspects of Bernard B. Kerik’s relationship with a company suspected of ties to organized crime before Mr. Kerik’s appointment as New York City police commissioner, according to court records.

I thought JSC was a Rudy supporter, but I could be wrong about that.
In any event, it doesn't matter right now anyway. If Rudy winds up with the Republican nomination, you guys will be all over him like stink on shit.

Not to mention that Rudy isn't the type of candidate who would excite the Republican base in the first place, but then again, neither are the other so-called "front runners" -- McCain and Romney.
I tend to agree. But I was trying to cover all of the bases, just in case.

Romney is dooming himself to failure by naming Jed as a potential running mate. Is there any reason that even the most ardent Republican desires to see this family get any more run?

Actually, I agree with your conclusion but for different reasons. Imho, most Republicans would want to see a Romney/Jeb ticket reversed.

Jeb would have a better chance, both with his party, and with the american public if he changed his name to something a little less disreputable, like, oh... Hitler
