At what age did you stop getting carded ..... ?

I had a youthful appearance.
Was never a big drinker anyway, but was into my early 30's before I NEVER got carded.
But then ironically, the following happened to me shortly before I left for Korea last year (age 45) .........
Was in WalMart, and walked over to the McDonalds there to get a cup o' Jo.
Perky young H.S. girl takes my order.
poptart: Just one medium coffee please.
Perky: Alright, one senior coffee.
poptart: (does double take -- says to self) Did she say ..... senior ..... coffee .... ?!?!?!?!?
poptart: Uhh .... yeah, a medium coffee, please.
Perky: One senior coffee ...... 25 cents please.
poptart: (pauses) ..... takes out a quarter, hands it to Perky, takes his coffee, walks away.
Spent the rest of the day studying myself in the mirror.
Thanks be to Perky.
Went from pubestache to nursing home in a little over 10 yrs.
RACK me.

Except for some stupid "convenient store" that
decided to card EVERYONE, I stopped getting carded
around age 18. Guess I looked older.

As Wolfie and Sam mentioned, there are some places that now card everybody.
Aside from that, there used to be a bar in Crapchester called Blades. It was an outdoor bar, and THE place to be in the summer (it's now closed). Rewind to 1992, I was 27 at the time and decided to go to Blades one night. There was a lineup at the entrance, and they were carding everybody. I get to the front of the line, and start to pull out my drivers' license. Guy says, "Go ahead, sir, you're fine."
I don't think I've ever been carded since then, except at the places that card everybody. But I haven't gotten a senior citizens discount yet, either.

I'm 26 and I never get carded anymore at convenient stores and at restaurants. Still get carded at ball games and bars/clubs.
I stopped getting carded for movies when I was about 16.

Tammy cards me every morning.
I like her so much better than that old Consuela bitch. Believe me, decent-looking chicks are NOT numerous in the fiber arts. Tammy here is like a supermodel in my world. She may have blonde tufts sticking out of her armpit, but at least her teats haven't come to rest below her abdomen sacs as of yet - presto, wool-carding hottie.
sin,

I've found that it has more to do with who I'm with. If I'm out with a group of say 5 or 6, and just one person looks of questionable age, then the entire table will get carded...consistency and all that, I get it. But when it's just the girlfriend and I, or a friend at the bar, I/we rarely get carded.
When I was under 21 and got carded, I just said I was boys with Zyclone. Never had any problems.

I usually only get carded when I've lost my driver's license again.

I'd like to say I have a very fond memory of being there one night, but all I remember is it being a very cool place (giant decks) and packed with people. I had quote the hangover the next day, I remeber that as well.
It has happened a handful of times in the past decade, I don't really care. Like some of the "over 40" set said, it's kinda of a compliment.

Well, let me see. I was fresh out of med school and living in Chicago at the time, when I met Luther, a young cop assigned to Elliot Ness' Untouchables, and we hung out at an Irish pub to celebrate the end of Prohibition.
I am...

The last time I bought anything that was "card worthy", was last October when I visited my mom in Cali. I went in to an AM/PM to get her a pack of cigarettes, and the chick made me go back to my car and dig out my drivers license.
I'm not stupid enough to think that I look younger than 18, but apparently......she though so?
I'm 34, and I've never NOT been carded for buying any type of alcohol. I'm sure that'll change once the gray starts growing in.
Ugh.

I've never purchased alcohol or cigarettes but I have been carded buying ammunition. When I was a kid they changed the law on buying ammo. One summer I bought a couple cases of 22LR. The next summer I found out I had to be an "adult". Stupid freaking legislators. Don't they understand there's a war in them thar hills. Man vs. gopher. Fight to the death.
I don't get carded buying Wite Out, epoxy, rubber cement, and spray paint since my hair decided it would rather live somewhere other than my head. That happened sometime around 25 years old. I'm starting to get some crows feet around the eyes now and I look late-thirties. What's funny is my wife looks mid-twenties. Most people are shocked to learn that she's older than I am. When she performs in live theatre she's often cast as a teenager. I think about that sometimes when we have sex.
