You know, in fairness, I have to RACK Sudden Sam for his posting efforts most of the time - usually a pretty good read when he isn't homering about SEC sports. When he is, it's truly painful, awful stuff. Dig the travelogue threads too. Dude seems to have a pretty good grasp on the english language as well; so why he plays around with the kiddies over at romper room kind of surprises me.

I recommend viewing re-runs of Charmed with the mute button on.

Btw, thanks for the review, SS. I'll be taking my gf ASAP. She digs on weird/bad movies and will probably believe it's brilliant. Then again, she digs on sappy movies too. She was a good sport for "The 300." We'll see on this one.

Maybe because there’s more SEC ball-sucking homers over there. Funny thing, one of those SEC ball-sucking homers (a particularly corpulent one) threw up a thread the other day explaining that he came over here and did a search on his username to see how much we were still obsessing about him.

Wow. Pathetic, but quite comical.

The wife and I saw this on Saturday afternoon. I am not a huge Will Ferrell guy... I've loved his performances just as much as I've hated them over the years. Totally a hit/miss guy... anyways. I thought this film was great. Sure... it had its over-the-top-roll-your-eyes moments, but there was also many instances of pure comedic gold. Yes, it was predictable. Yes, the plot line was ridiculous. But I was also literally in tears a couple of times I was laughing so hard. Totally worth the matinee price...

Grindhouse is ok but too long.
The best part is the previews.
