You did a good thing. I saw a mvscal come into Taco Bell one time and was complaining he didn't have any money. The guy in front of him was a regular like myself. This regular told him he would buy him a small drink and food item but only once. I wasn't any more than $2 and the schvoogie left happy.

Over time I saw a few more of them wandering by hoping for more generosity, but no one caved in and they left the parking lot.

There's enough rescue missions out there that feed them so don't feel bad if they don't get over on a commercial establishment.

Plight of the homeless? I just wish they'd disappear, and on one hand I don't care how that happens, but on the other hand, I can't help but notice that it was when public mental health facilities began shutting down all over the place that homelessness became such an issue.
