***Death Pool Standings***

Post by Luther »

Even though this is the last time I'm going to sponsor this tremendous event, I will keep my word in doing the updates and will provide the winner with his/her prize at the end of the year. I haven't posted since sometime around XMAS and I hope all is alive and well...you too, Toddowen.

We are all in first place. Not one pick has been a keeper. We did have some near misses though :

* Mister Bushice took Gerald Ford and he A.R.T. on Dec 26. Had he lasted until January, Bushy would've garnereed 7 points, plus the bonus.

* MuchoBalls came really close with Fidel Castro. I could be wrong with who had him as numerous people selected him.

*KCDave couldn't keep Lamar Hunt alive until Jan. and he was 73.

*L45B had James Brown but he died on Christmas at the age of 73. I actually think L45B should get a complimentary hand clap as they didn't bury JB until 2007.

I'll see you at the 6th month mark for another update.

Hopefully, by then, you will have fallen victim to your own creation.

Luth, I picked Ernest Gallo. (March 18, 1909 – March 6, 2007). I believe I am in first by 9 points with the rest of the participants in a tie for dead (pardon the pun) last.

I have him. I'm surprised he's still alive.

He's not. I am playing cards with him right now.

There was a horrible rumor going around that you had joined the dead pool.

Luther is dead to all of us.

His spirit only returns because he can't break his earthly bonds until the Death Pool has been closed out.

Hey Douche,

When do you plan on being in California? I've got the entire summer open. We can meet. I'll buy the uppercuts.

Oh, bring a chinstrap. The ground is really hard out here.

I'll amend one of my picks and put you on there once Cicero takes you out on the first stop on your "tour".

Yeah, but you'd think a successful attorney could mix in a freaking manicure every one or six weeks.

Keep thinking those thoughts, Todd, and have another drink. Don't forget the ammunition, either. I'm here to help.

fuck that horseshit...I'm going to rip douchebag up with my bare hands. I haven't taken care of my nails in like forever, and they are itching to rake through the gelatinous cheekfat as I tear up Douchebag. 88, you'll have to settle on pumping his shower curtain shroud full of hot lead, because he's gonna be sporting his Inevitable Human Result dance by the time he floats upriver your way.

Meanwhile in a death pool update, I just racked up 16 points. Vonnegut went Ice Nine today. No bonus though.

Damn. 2 out of 5 of my picks have kicked. I think it's best if I put Douchebag on my list. I have the highest loss percentage so far.

Oh and RACK 88 :)
