Tax question

Anyone know the name of the form you need to request copies of your 1099, w-2 1098 etc. records? One of my mortgages was sold to a new company, the old company never sent me the 1098, and the new company are being dicks and saying they can't.
Since the old company had to report it, the irs already has it so I'd rather use their numbers than to calculate it wrong.
I did it a few years back but I can't remember what the hell the form is called, and the govirs search program brings up a shitload of pages I ain't looking forward to hunting through.

Hey, it’s only April 20th, no sense rushing into anything.
Call your local IRS office. It shouldn't take more than 6 or 7 hours to get through to somebody who will have no clue what the fuck you're talking about, and who will forward you on their co-worker who in on a 3-week vacation/bender.

Or, try restoring from a previous day. I mean, I'm no H&R Block employee, but it's worth a shot, right?

ummmm Bushice...
Call that pesky 800 number from a statement from the previous company......
Input numbers
Talk to customer service, request new mailing as well as hear the 06 numbers reported to the IRS.
Hang Up
It's brutal but you have to do it.
Amazingly enough, some of these Mortgage companies are even online...
Good luck and stuff.

Tried that, Y. Got told by some yitz that it should have been sent and because some specific date passed that they can't and won't do it.
Damn I would have thought one of the KIAs here would know.

Dude,
Go right over that dumbfucks head and talk to his supervisor, tell him you need some documentation NOW! Be cool but don't take a "we can't" for an answer.
Of course they can... that's bullshit...

When is your "house" due for its next oil change, lube, and 15 pt inspection? Remember to have the tires rotated! Single wides can be tricky driving...

That's the problem, Mace. It isn't the current mortgage company, it's the previous company that sold the mortgage to the current company. The first company had it for most of the year then sold it, and now they no longer have a vested interest in helping.
No worries, though. I got the info I wanted elsewhere.
Pop,
they have BKs in Korea?
Is it all burgers and dogs?
Isn't going from Tennis Instructor to BK manager, umm, a little less than a lateral move?
