He's gone, according to the BBC.

Maybe not, but I'll take Yeltsin and Clinton over Putin and Bush any day of the week, and twice on Sunday.

So the question now is: Who's gonna coach the Golden State Warriors?

One of these guys REALLY ended the Cold War, and could drink John Madden under the table. And by virtue of his non-CIA-sponsored heroism, he stands clearly as one of the greatest men of the last century.

Sorry, Whistler, but unlike Pigpen, Brent, and Jerry, Yeltsin was a
REALman, not some idiot stoner with no agenda beyond the next score.
Really, aren't you a little...ridiculous?...attempting to smear the name of a great man?
After all, Whistler, who do you support? Some ZioNazi fuckstains who learned everything from their own torturers?
What do you support? The fantasy-land race-state nightmare pathetically called "Israel"--a brief, failed experiment itself 3000 years ago? What a sick joke!
Why don't you get a clue....and WAKE UP!!

QUIET, you. I looked into those eyes and saw a warm soul...a kindly, decent man whom I trust with every ounce of my being.
Yours Sincerely,
George W. Bush

Folks, perhaps there's been some confusion on this, but let me state categorically that I ended the Cold War.
Stand Down, you fuckin' Commies! This thing ends now, and
I'm ending it!
Allright, hold on. These guys are imposters. It was
I who ended the Cold War--and here I am getting a belated medal for doing so, by the Chimp himself.

The 250,000+ corpses in Chechnya think Yeltsin was a real peach.

I find it strange how you pick your
REAL men. Yeltsin's army indiscriminantly kills 250,000+ civilians in Chechnya, and you love the guy. The US army under Bush overthrows a dictator who killed more people than Yeltsin (which is saying something) while making incredible efforts to reduce civilian casualties, and you call him a war criminal. Weird.
Uh, I was talking about this guy,
But this guy's looking for a miracle too!
Invading Chechnya was admittedly as horrific as Abe Lincoln invading the similarly seceeding Confederacy--an aggression resulting in a far higher body count. But, we notice you tally the deaths in Chechnya to include the five years under Putin's rule as well. And that's sort of misleading.
Yeltsin's heroism, however, in standing up to the Soviet machine in those final days of the Evil Empire, far outweighs the tragic mistake of Atlanta...I mean Grozny.
