How stupid of the NFL. Pot is not exactly a performance enhancing drug.
I can never figure out why Americans get wound up about Marijuana anyways.
I wonder if he will come back to Canada to play? But he was a flop here and I guess the bigger field was too hard on him....

It's not stupid because weed happens to be illegal.
But I understand the point you're making.
Weed might be a substance that individual
teams ought to test for .... if they choose to.
I don't know that the
league 'needs' to test for it.

For many/most, you're right, it's not performance enhancing. But just as some people benefit from having things speed up for them mentally (and as a result use meth or coke), others benefit by having things slow down for them mentally so that they can analyze things more thoroughly and make better decisions.
