A) Spellcheck 'smack' is still gay.
B) I counted about 10 other typos you neglected to point out. Slacker.
C) Mix in a take when you post or STFU.

Still waiting for those epic proofs that the CC promoted a flat earth concept, SCS.

If they are anything like the Sinclair/Zeno/Templar links, I could use the comic relief.

Yes lets all revert to message board spelling/grammar/syntex smack. We all, by now, know your M.O. Din's get over yourself. I don't have to explain or justify myself to you or anyone else on this earth. I own and operate my own business, my income is considerably greater than the vast majority of my piers. I am well liked and respected by my piers, business associates, and friends alike.

What some pompous ass wipe from the U/L who lives on a message board and brags about the latest skank he's nailed and joint he's smoked thinks of me doesn't mean a rats ass to me.

I was just pointing out that it's hard to not laugh at someone who wants to be taken seriously on an intellectual level, when the have no chance at passing an 8th grade literacy exam.

But then again, it doesn't matter what I think -- you're secure knowing that boardwalks that extend into the water like and respect you...so you've got that going for you.

Take a hint.

Or save it for this thread. Don't say I never did anything for you.

FTFY and I'm surprised... no shocked, that you didn't take advantage of that as well.

Tch! You're slipping.

As oppossed to someone who has over 13,000 posts on a message board mostly about skanks and illegal substances.

I spend my day at a job where, though I make my own hours, I work plenty. I don't spend my day getting grind into the ground on a college football forum, chasing a wind chime expert down because it makes me feel good to degrade one of the few people on the board more pathetic than myself, or lauding a school I have no connection to other than the fact I live in the state it is also in, or espousing the coming greatness of a division II football program that might one day compete with the likes of such powerhouses as Montana.

Sit back and spark another and kill a few more brain cells.

So there I am last night, my daughter freshly asleep in her new toddler's bed and so I began my normal routine on Sunday evenings; I sat down with a very fascinating book on the "English Peasant's Revolt" of 1381.

I'm only two paragraphs into the book and what word would I just happen to come across? Sure the hell enough scottish. Damn maybe one of the most renowned and well respected historians on Medievil Britain hasn't received the all knowing pot head Dim's discertation on the fact that scottish isn't a word. So this got me to thinking... well could I, a lowly simple man with only a major state University's education, my father who has more degrees than I care to count from institutions to numerous for me to list, my grandfather who had degrees from two major state universities (OU and KSU), and one of the worlds most well respected historians on Medievil Britain all be using a term that does not exist? I found this anomoly to be highly unlikely so I pulled out my trusty Webster's dictionary and sure enough Scottish is a word amongst the text. Maybe Dim's is more of an authority than Webster's Dictionary? I find this thought a bit absurd. A couple of paragraphs later there it is again. So I decided to pull my ote taking pad for work out and begin to make a tally for each time I come across the word. As of this morning Dim's is 17x the dumbass that I thought yesterday.

This brought to mind another simple argument between me and the Dimwitted one that occurred early in this boards life from the movies section, on the movie "Braveheart" where Dims bereated me for using the term scotch when refferring to my heritage. So I decided to look that up as well... sure enough it was just a matter of Dims being Dims...

Scottish & Scotch!!!

Maybe Dims should stick to the four things and subjects that his third rate education from Longwood, Longview, Longpoleintheass, or whatever the hell it is called in up in U/L of Orygone obviously affords him... skanks, marijuana, spelling, and making a complete ass of himself. Well I guess he did succeed in the last area of expertise.

SCS doesn't do spellcheck - but in his case, it's definitely a matter of clacking out stuff quickly without worrying about how it's spelled - focusing instead on the content. I have found his takes to be quite rackable, all told.

True. Even when he is insanely off his rocker wrong, he is cohearant and rational.

As opposed to some of the mods hear who mispel shit just to bring out the bottom-feaders.

Truth be told but without spellcheck I probably wouldn't have a job .

I think I have said it before... I spent my early education in some backassward states that didn't teach phonics but spelling from written memory. It's a hinderance but one that I am able to overcome with the advent of modern technology. The man who came up with spellcheck on word deserves a Nobel Prize in my humble opinion.

If you need to do spellcheck, you've got a problem. Spellcheck won't help regarding context. When you use the word "pier" when you meant "peer" twice with-in the same paragraph, you probably should be asking for a refund on that college edumacation you're so proud of, and never mention it again. Hell, you should be suing your 5th grade teacher.

I actually do know the difference War. Like Dio pointed out though I am not even thinking about things like that most of the time. I usually hit and run anymore. Life is busy. I don't have the time that some people have to focus on bbs etiquette and spelling. As long as others know what the hell I said then I don't really give a crap around here. There isn't anybody I feel the need to impress. Least of all Dims.

BTW there are a couple of other people on this earth who got by just fine using words out of context and were absolutly attrocious at spelling and grammar. I don't think it held back einstein too much, neither did the fact he couldn't even tie his own shoes stop him from the theory of relativity. Just sayin'. BTW War I've read enough of your posts in the NFL forum to know that people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones ;).

Your browser doesn't highlight spelling errors?

Not that it would have helped with pier vs peer.

Nope my browser doesn't highlight spelling errors. I use Firefox, there might be an extension or something to enable that would do it. I might need to look into that for the people with less ability at critical thinking around here. ;)

You need to install an English language dictionary to Firefox.

Go here- https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/browse/type:3

Install the en-us dictionary.

That should work, unless you have spell check disabled in your config.
