The roads are horrible in that city and it just has a nasty feel to it.

Montgomery just reminds me of mississippi. I wonder if they will trade us tunica for it.

Hooters is not the only restaurant to be fooled by the traffic surveys here. At least they are moving into an old building instead of getting reamed by the city on a new one. TGIFridays built new and only lasted a year before closing up.

I predict a shooting at Hooters-Gump within 30 days.

I travel to Birmingham, Dothan & Mobile (once) on business;

Dothan is shit flying in and out - Delta has never been on time getting in there. Nothing unique or interesting

Mobile, there were bums panhandling outside the Marriott last time in and the feeder roads are a cluster fuck. auto Insurance must be insane in that town. I felt like Tarzan going into a c-store for a $6.00 can of skoal at 7PM on a Monday night right by that Marriott. The C-store had the cashier behind bullet proof glass - yea that's my kind of town.

No complaints about Birmingham - but I only stay over on lakeshore so don't get close to the crap part.

Dad lives in Pennsacola - headed down there in August for vacation. Really like that town, although it's been 3 years since our last vacation down there. Dad says it's gone to hell since Katrina - hope that's not the case. We stayed out on Penn Beach last time - was really nice

I drove thru Pensacola in August of 2005 before Katrina. The beach was still torn up from the hurricane that had hit in May, forget it's name. Not sure, but I don't think Katrina hit P-cola more than a glancing blow.

Anyways, my daugters softball team went there for a Spring Break tourney this spring and stayed right on the beach. She said all the damage had been cleared away and everything rebuilt.

If you get a chance, head over to Biloxi and drop some coin in the casinos there. Now, that place got torn all to shit by Katrina. What a beautiful place that was. Hopefully, they've got it somewhat back to it's former self by now.

Montgomery, Birmingham, Dothan, PepsiCola, and Peoria.
All better sports towns than Seattle.

Rack 'em.

Rack tittie bars and blue hairs.
Rack rising in the south.

Not what I (he) meant.

He said there was a large influx of the refugees from New Orleans - crime rate up, bums up, trashing of the town up.

As far as I know, the beaches and area are in good shape

Top right for Mr. Belvedere. Looks like he needs specific instructions and somebody to stand over his shoulder while he accomplishes the most simple of tasks.

Scott, you better go down there and reign in some Law and Order. If you see any dudes in pink shirts, you'll know what to do.

Otherwise, have a nice vacation.

Pornaphobic, Christer, and "Shalom"istic Israeli (drop, suck, and swallow)ers,

what's the question?

They go together like fingers and thumbs.

Pcola is a shit hole!!! Pcola has always been a shit hole; it didn't just become one in the last 5 years. Do your dad a favor and help move east, at least to Navarre.

Okaloosa Island > Pcola Beach
Destin > Pcola
Billy Bow Legs Festival > Memorial Day Gay Pride March
The Swamp > Seville
Hooter's Destin > Hooter's Pcola
Air Force women > Sailors with tatoos
Hot Spring Break Babes > AIDS

I'll trade Mississippi Pcola for Biloxi!!!
