Arizona executes killer by lethal injection

PHOENIX (Reuters) -
Arizona executed a 50-year-old man by lethal injection
on Tuesday for the murder of a camper in 1987, state prison officials said.
Robert Charles Comer, convicted of the murder of Larry Pritchard, was put to death
at 10 a.m. at the Arizona State Prison complex in Florence, southeast of Phoenix.
When asked if he had any last words, witnesses reported that Comer smiled and
said, "Yes, Go Raiders!" in what appeared to be a reference to the Oakland, California,
professional football team.
Comer had withdrawn his federal appeals and refused to attend a clemency hearing
in recent weeks.
For his last meal Comer requested fried okra, four buns and two slices of banana bread
with butter and salt.
Comer was on death row for more than 19 years for shooting Pritchard in the head on
February 3, 1987, at a campground near Apache Lake, east of Phoenix.
He also attacked a young couple at a neighboring campsite, hog-tying the man to a car
fender and repeatedly raping the woman during a drive through a wilderness area.
Comer was the 23rd person to be executed in the state since Arizona resumed capital
punishment in 1992. There are 112 inmates on the state's death row.

And I mean he got trashed! Not only did he carry the broom, he also wore a pink Izod shirt as if to throw in the ol' not only will we complete the sweep tonight, but New York is more intellectual than you LA morons mind trick. Fans heckled him like mad and when we got close to security booth and the guard reminded us to have our pockets empty and purses open we ALL heard:
"Hey Pink! Open your fucking purse!" and "Don't worry, I'll hide that broom deep in your ass, faggot!" It was getting pretty ugly. It felt uncomfortable.

I'd heard the 'Go Raiders' last words story before - another Texas inmate (who else) - this has to have been at least 5 years ago as the bitter elf dwelled on it for at least a week.
Instead of "go Raiders" For my last words, I'd have ran off a string of Vulgarities towards the reat of the AFC west that would have made RJ proud.

And now, my honest take on this:
Raiders fans are no different than the rest of society-By that I mean there are good ones and bad ones. It's unfortunate the fucking media in general like to highlight the negative. Yes, Raiderfans are more passionate about thier team than most other fans, That being said, having a fucking cunt of a murdering rapist like that as a member of Raider Nation is nothing to be proud of. I'd rather have a shitbag of that order be a Donkey or Chefs fan myself.
He should have apologized to the families of his victims and pleaded for God's mercy in his last breath instead of disgracing Raider Nation. EOS.
