As of 5/25, we still are getting Greg Oden.
And you still aren't.
Gee, getting the 3 best players over a two-season stretch sure sucks.
Wait...
No, it doesn't.
You timed your dynasty well, Spurs. About the time your workhorse is winding down his better days, he would have had his reign of dominance yanked out from under him.
And poor, poor Kobe Bryant. He will never win another title as a Laker. Sucks to be him.
Garnett? He's going to fade away ringless.
It must suck for all Western Conference teams not from Portland right now. Everything they worked to build for so long just went away.
That fateful draw of the ping pong balls wasn't even fair. If I was a fan of any other team, I'd think that lottery was complete bullshit.
But it works out great for the Blazers...and we were owed.
You're still on notice...for the next 10-15 years, suckers.
