I'm thinking "mauled by wild male pandas" is not a good way to go...

Can’t be any worse than being gang-raped by drunken Mexicans.

"We have to give captive-bred pandas better survival training, especially combat and defence skills," Xinhua quoted reserve vetenarian Yang Chunxiang as saying.

Pandas cut the bamboo that Americans won't. We need to have a guest panda program lest we be overrun by bamboo.

You call that a feel-good story?

THIS is a feel-good story --

OTHELLO, Wash. -- For the 600 elementary school students looking on, it was supposed to be an exciting science demonstration. Instead it turned into a frightful look at death.

A teacher and a utility company worker in Othello were suspended about 30 feet off the ground in a lift bucket Thursday, when the boom suddenly separated from its base, sending the bucket crashing to the ground. They were thrown from the bucket when it hit the ground outside Hiawatha Elementary School.

Killed was 50-year-old Bob Smith, an employee of Avista Utilities.

The teacher, Melissa Martinez, was hospitalized for treatment of what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.

They were conducting the annual "egg drop" science demonstration at the school, dropping eggs in protective containers to see which ones don't crack.

Several hundred school children were on the playground to watch the event.

The company and the department of labor will investigate the incident. School district officials are taking steps to provide counseling for the children who saw the fatal incident.

Let that be a lesson to those little punks.
