Some pop up windows ( such as those used for live audio streaming) open up, but they cannot be resized, and the text is not fully visible or accessible.

Anyone know if there is an add-on that addresses this, or if FF2 does?

I currently have version 1.5.0.12

Those window "decorations" are removed by javascript. If you turn javascript off, or if you use a plugin that blocks certain scripts, you can show 'em who's boss.
